This thing has been a game changer. We have mostly hard floors in our home, and I used to struggle to sweep because it leaves some dust behind, but less dust than our previous vacuum would've left. Ever since I started using this, nothing remains. It does not kick up dust or move it around, it actually picks it all up. Everything. I will say, it works a little slower on our carpet, but the sensor helps me know when I have to do a spot multiple times. I love the sensor capabilities, but only after understanding how it actually works - the sensor isn't some voodoo magic that tells you how much is left in the spot, it just tells you how much debris it detected from the last pass. That way you know to go over a spot multiple times if the sensor has a high reading. I also love the attachments that hook into the machine. I have all hard floors and small door mats throughout my 1000 square foot main floor. I also have two major shedders and one medium shedder. My goal was to find a light weight, maneuverable stick vac for daily pet hair clean up. I have a wonderful Miele for major cleaning but it is kinda cumbersome for daily use. For my purposes this does the job pretty well. I like the light weight and maneuverability and the battery run time is adequate for my relatively small space. The bagless collector is great. It’s easy to empty completely. The brush/fin roller doesn’t get clogged up with hair at all. The small side wheels do get quite a bit of pet hair wound around them but they do seem to keep rolling with a little extra care removing the wound up hair. The odor neutralizer seems to work really well. Cleaning up dust and pet hair can make for a stinky vac, but so far that doesn’t seem to be an issue. I do think it could have better suction particularly on the sides of the vacuum head. As this is my first stick vac I’m mostly satisfied. When I need to replace it I’m going to be interested in more powerful suction in general but specifically from the sides of the head, lighter weight would be nice and a longer run time would be better. Bought this for a small lake cabin with laminate flooring and a few area rugs. Works great and uses little space for storage. Charges rapidly, battery life is surprisingly good. The only thing I’ve noticed is that the vacuum roller head picks up more sand on the forward pass than on backward on laminate flooring, but that’s not really a big deal. Nice quality. The media could not be loaded. I love this vacuum. We have a corded Dyson which is great and powerful and has lasted years. But now having a cat and needing to vacuum daily, I cannot lug that around easily. I got this because of the good reviews and slightly more affordable price and I think it is awesome!! It’s easy to use, easy to store, doesn’t take up much room, is so agile and can get around corners and under furniture, and makes the house smell good. It’s also easy to clean. I don’t understand the complaints about the suction. It works perfectly fine and picks up everything I need. We have a British shorthair who sheds a lot and I have to vacuum daily because of allergies and asthma in the house. It does an awesome job. I also love the headlights! The connectors make it easy to vacuum corners and furniture too! It is my favorite thing to use around the house to clean. I also think it’s light and feasible to carry around. Someone complained about how heavy it is but I don’t think it’s too bad. Highly recommend this! ... show more

    • Absolute junk and waste of money - Shark is not what it used to be

I bought this because I have a 15 year old Shark vacuum I bought that was amazing and probably the best vacuum I've ever owned. So I thought this would be good to. WRONG Suction is absolutely terrible. When its not clogged (which is practically never) it might suck up half the dirt and debris on the floor. Major design flaw because the suction tube is very narrow and also not smooth so most of the hair it sucks up gets stuck in the ribs of the tube blocking the entire passage way. So I spend more time turning if off and getting hair clogs out of the tube than I do vacuuming. What good does a head that does not clog do if you just moved it further up the chain to the tube? The filters on this are tiny and get so dirty every time you use it that you must take the unit apart and clean the filters otherwise it will not suck, overheat, and shut off. There are also filters, they dont tell you about, built into the head unit and you cannot remove. You have to have a high powered compressed air blower and blow that thing out on a regular basis or the unit will just not suck and overheat. You will not understand what is going on because you have cleaned the 2 removable filters they tell you about and the unit still will not work. Then you get desperate and start blowing the entire unit out with high pressure air and realize there is a built in filter to the head you cannot remove and it has to be cleaned too. The unit constantly shuts itself off because of "over heating". Even when using the auto and eco modes. If you try to use any attachment other than the head, say like the small brushes for hand use, the unit overheats and shuts off in less than 20 seconds. I bought this in October 2023 and the battery has already swelled, leaked, and stopped working. I called support today and they are sending me a new battery but the shipping is $20. Thats a freaking joke for such a small package and they are clearly subsidizing my battery warranty with "shipping costs". Shark has lost me as a customer forever. I've wasted almost $300 on a useless piece of junk that I spend more time cleaning and unclogging than I do using. And the 5-10 minutes I do get to use it the thing barely sucks anything up. ... show more
