  • Thought it would be hard, but it was really easy!
I have always wanted an espresso machine, but they all looked a bit intimidating and like they were just too big for the limited counter space in my kitchen. This one is a smaller size (only 10 inches wide!), but is packed with features. And after I got into it, it wasn’t really that hard. The espresso machine itself feels very solid, and comes with almost everything you need except for a bean grinder, cups, and a metal frothing pitcher. I’ve never had any experience at all with an espresso machine, so the learning curve was pretty steep for me. I can’t even order for myself at those fancy coffee places. Thankfully, the directions were mostly clear. After I looked up some of the terminology and figured out what the instructions were trying to tell me, I felt brave enough to try my first espresso. I got a bean grinder and ground some espresso beans to a pretty fine powder as per the instructions. Then I filled the 2-espresso cup container and tamped the coffee down. Note: because the little container doesn’t sit flat, I had the coffee piled up too high on one side. Fortunately I noticed it and was able to correct it. After letting the water preheat (only took seconds), I placed the coffee into the holder and attached it to the machine. It did take a little strength to turn it all the way to lock it. Then I pushed the button and held my breath. The water pulsed into the grounds, and after a few seconds, there was espresso! It filled both little cups surprisingly evenly. Then came time to steam/froth/whatever the milk. I just followed the directions and didn’t make too big of a mess of things. I did put the wand a bit too far into the milk and had to clean scalded milk off of the wand, but that was my fault. The steaming took a little longer than I thought it would, but it was finally foamy. I poured it into the espresso, and had a taste. I’m a black coffee kind of person, but this was really good! Strong, but good! I did try adding a little sugar to take the edge off, and it was pretty good, too. But as I said, I’m used to coffee with nothing in it. Now I’m about to go down the rabbit hole and figure out how to make some of those really fancy coffees! I love it! You can do this! ... show more

  • BEST ONE YET
I had a Mr. Coffee Espresso compact machine that was my first introduction to espresso that was easy to use and worked very well for me. When I saw Shardor put one up on Vine for evaluation and testing I immediately placed an order for it, I have switched to Shardor coffee bean grinders earlier this year and have been very impressed with them, I have two so far for separate applications and they are so much better that the one I had been using for years. This is so quiet compared to what I was using before that was actually deafening when it was grinding (everyone that had been subjected to it have said so). This is a company that I will buy almost anything they put out because I have such a high regard for every product that I have got from them so far. Back to the Espresso Machine, it is all stainless steel, very professional looking and is so much easier to use, if I want a single shot, I press 1, it I want a double shot (of course double shot) I press 2. The digital display lets me know exactly what’s going on or how long a process it taking, I’m not sure if that is important except when I’m steaming the milk which allows me to be able to duplicate the steamed milk exactly the same every time. I did not care for the height of the tray to the portafilter since I always do a double shot and I do not use tiny little cups, but I guess that’s probably a standard, so I use a small stainless pitcher that just barely fits under. The 20-Bar Pressure for Café-Style Espresso Brew pushes the espresso effortlessly through the portafilter for a full flavor espresso, Capuchino or a latte, And the 1350W thermoblock heating system heats up so much faster than my previous unit including the steam wand for frothing milk for a Capuchino or latte is almost instantaneous. This is a very professional looking machine that fits well in any kitchen and even has a cup warming tray on top of the unit. Comes with a plastic combination coffee scoop/tamper, but I suggest spend a few more bucks for a real 51mm tamper, I like the spring loaded one that automatically applies the correct amount of pressure. ... show more

  • Good investment hopefully it’ll last
The media could not be loaded. I have a very expensive espresso machine that I have purchased from Italy, this was something extra we wanted to put in our B&B For the price The build quality is very good, with durable materials and a professional finish. The user interface is intuitive, making it easy to select your preferred settings. The machine heats up quickly and delivers a consistent temperature, ensuring each shot of espresso is perfectly extracted. The crema is rich and velvety, and the machine’s steam wand froths milk to a delightful texture for lattes and cappuccinos. Maintenance is straightforward, with a user-friendly cleaning cycle and accessible components for regular upkeep. Additionally, the [Brand/Model] offers a range of customization options for grind size, shot volume, and temperature, allowing you to tailor each brew to your taste. Overall, the Sumsaty espresso machine offers exceptional value for both novice and experienced coffee enthusiasts. It combines convenience, quality, and versatility, making it a standout choice in its category. If you’re serious about your coffee, this machine is a worthy investment. ... show more
