Mine came in one box. I remember many people and the ad saying it comes in two so I would suggest opening the first box that comes and checking. I (5 months pregnant) put this together myself in about 1.5 hours. Super simple. I had to take many breaks to stretch so I wouldn't be in pain from sitting on the floor to long. The metal slats take a bit of force to pop into the slots but after thinking about it, this is a good thing. The frame is very sturdy and the drawers are nice. I read reviews on how much the drawers can hold and frankly I can't say much in way of this because I store clothing and light things and by the time the drawers are full I don't think they weight over the recommended weight. I bought a frame that sits on the floor for the sole reason of keeping the cats (and oddly enough my husky) from getting under the bed. They used to play under the bed, bumping it all night, causing me loss of sleep. For this reason the bed frame is absolutely perfect. It doesn't exactly match the picture and someone said that you can't open the top drawers with night stands which is the exact truth. Also one of the middle drawer hooks (that keep the drawers from coming out on their own) wasn't included so to fix that I filled the drawer with storage stuff and put it on the top which is now held in place by my night stand. To me this is no big deal. I put the things I need most often in the lower drawers and the stuff I'll need a couple times a year in the upper drawers. Over all I find this frame to be a great value and it does EXACTLY what I bought it to do. If you like my review hit helpful! Thanks!

This is a pretty sturdy bed frame it does make a little noise but then again I'm a larger dude. It was super easy to put together and I had all the parts and nothing was damaged so that's a plus also. The only thing is that I have a 15 inch tall mattress and it does slide around because it does not recess into the frame but on top of it so I will be putting some sort of brackets on to hold it in place no big deal but just so people are aware otherwise it's a nice frame and the under that storage is perfect as well

For a bed frame under $200 I am very pleased with the quality. Much better than the cheap wood frames for sale. It’s metal and very sturdy. The drawers offered more storage than expected. Our room is very small and had to have one side of the bed against the wall so I originally thought we would have to give up the 2 drawers against the wall. It ended up working out nicely because the drawers don’t run on a track, so we actually were able to zip tie the front and back drawers together, and keep all of the storage. It actually seems much more stable with the drawers tied together anyways. It didn’t take us too long to put it together (about an hour), although I do recommend using a power tool instead of the provided Allen wrench. It will save you time, especially on the drawers. Overall a good buy. It will do it’s job the next couple years

The overall rating is super good. Instructions manual is really helping. Assembly is easy. And the bed is heavy. Everything fits so good. Every part is well aligned. Storage is suitably good. Looks are also good. I personally liked it. In this price it's a good idea to buy this bed.

Without a doubt this is a good looking bed. But unfortunately we don't just look at beds...we use them. To start, the set up was fairly easy. Had no issues doing it myself, but would absolutely go much faster with a helping hand. Instructions made sense and the numbering on the tools and bolts was very helpful. However, there is a HUGE design flaw in my opinion. There is NO mattress support at the ends of the bed, neither the top or the bottom. When you sit on the edge of the bed, your mattress sinks into the opening between the frame and the platform bars. The same happens when you sit up in bed. They barely give about an inch of support where your bed is supposed to sit around the frame. Also, the bed does slide quite a bit. I DO NOT want to buy a box spring as the whole point of these platform beds is that you don't need a boxspring! I was able to use cute slabs out of the box it came in and taped them to the edges for support. Looks terrible, but will do the trick until I wrap my head around spending more money. And why are the bolts so prominent? I feel like with time they'll dig in and damage the bottom of my mattress. Also, the drawers are fine at best. Why do they make the bed so tall and then only give you a 6" tall drawer. And the closing mechanism is lazy design at best. They could have just made it a magnet. Overall, I am very disappointed in the bed, but that's what you get for paying $200.
