Fridge works as advertised. Cools down to 30 degrees in less that 60 minutes. A bit on the heavy side but handles make it easy to lift. Would have been better if it opened on the wide side vs. the long narrow side. Very roomy for its size, interior light is a nice feature. Have now used for over one month. Fridge is working great, no longer worried about grocery shopping and rushing home due to cold foods spoiling.     • When something works the way it is supposed to
This works great. I've used it twice, once as a test run because I worried about the impact on my truck battery, as it has to be plugged in the entire time in use and I don't have a separate power source at this time. Well, it was no problem at all. What a terrific surprise. It cooled as expected, maintaining a solid temperature setting while sitting outside in the shade in 90+ degree weather. I had to get very close to it to hear the motor run, as it is very quiet. *Note: I do have the insulating cover. I made a mistake and placed an package of bacon upright and on the side of the inner basket and that blocked the flow of cold air coming off the side. Do not block the sides. This holds enough for me to camp for a weekend: beverages and food together. I found 35 degrees kept my food cold as I like it. I appreciate the removable basket that allows me to rummage through everything until I gather what I want without losing all the cold air in the cooler. Seems to be a quality well built product. Controls are nice easy to use with a actual push button not just a touch sensor . Cooled rapidly from 50 to 3 in 30 min held temp without running a lot but not very ot today so that I'm sure will change but don't expect problems can feel high air flow across cooling coils which is key to good operation longevity is yet to be determined but with quiet operation and overall performance am very happy so far ... show more

We purchased this unit as an upgrade to our existing refrigerator only unit. We’ve done several tests and surprisingly it chills super fast, within 15 minutes. I’ve taken it to the 0° mark and was able to transport frozen ice cream with no problem. We tested it full of food at the 28° mark and everything Was kept equally cold to our home refrigerator. This is a great option for camping and I am so excited to not need any more ice. We’ve also tested it on our small gold labs solar power box. We would do the initial cooling on max mode, using the house plug or car charger and once out of the car, use the eco-mode with our solar box, which gave us at least six hours at the 28° mark. We also have a portable solar panel Which you can hook up in sync and allow it to run for a longer period of time. Our main concern was overnight cooling which we determined that with a six hour available charge on our solar box. It would hold the 28° temperature through the night from 11 PM till 5 AM. We’ve done several tests to see how long the freezer would remain cold without it being plugged in and that is two hours. Ultimately with no sun we can eight hours total cooling time. Then when you wake up in the morning, you plug it back into the car or the solar panel using the sun and continue on. I highly recommend this unit and I am very impressed with its compact size, but yet has more than enough room for all of our items that we typically take camping. the whites it needs to run our half of what our old little refrigerator took when on eco-mode. The eco-mode is super quiet, and I gotta say that the max mode is also quiet as I can hardly hear it so the noise level is exceptional. I would only recommend using the max mode if plugged into a car or house, since that would drain too much from our solar box and cut our call time and a half , the unit does weigh a little bit without food but it’s well worth it to avoid the bags of ice and melted water. ... show more

This is built with quality! I have two units, one that stays up at my off grid place, the other stays in my 4x4 for the commute to & from my off grid place, so it gets Bumped around on 17 miles of 4-wheel drive only roads! Both are run off my Jackery and EcoFlow solar panel setups. I’ve had both units for almost 3 years. One did have an issue & started freezing my food, but they sent me a new (had to send back the other one) with very little correspondence. They advertise a 3 year warranty and they are good for it. I keep this fridge in the backseat of my truck to keep my beverages cold while surf fishing rather than buy ice daily. It keeps them good and cold. I had ice in a water bottle the other day so I turned it down a little. I have owned a 65qt. ARB fridge for many years that I now keep in my RV as my beverage fridge. I paid around $1000 for it many years ago. I didn’t want to pay a lot of money this time around so I took a chance on this Set Power and so far I’m impressed. I ran a dedicated power line (#10 or #8 gauge)directly from my batteries to power the ARB and now use it for this fridge. I would highly recommend doing the same as most 12 volt receptacles in vehicles just don’t provide optimum power for running a fridge. My ARB ran so much better after doing that.
