These are nice looking, minimal, modern lamps. Just what I wanted. I bought the ones with the black lamp shades. I love that they each have two USB ports and an outlet on the base. That’s so handy and convenient! I no longer have to use bulky AC adapters to charge my phone, iPad and Fitbit in the power strip under my desk. Yay! It’s great that these lamps are dimmable, the LED bulbs don’t get hot after they’ve been on for several hours, and I can touch the base or post of the lamp anywhere to adjust the brightness or turn the lamps on and off. The only thing I wish was different is that the woven fabric on the shade (which appears to be linen or cotton) is more sheer/open weave than I thought it would be from the pictures. I can see a little of the white material that the shade is constructed from through the black fabric when the lamps are turned off, which makes the shades look like a very dark charcoal gray rather than true black. They still look nice, but I just thought that the shades would be a deeper black than that. This is just me nitpicking, though. I can always make the shades a deeper black with fabric paint, or put another layer of woven black linen or cotton over each one. I might do that. I’m considering it. If I do, I’ll post photos here for anyone else who wishes the shades were more black and wants to make them darker. The bulbs are included, which I appreciate, and they’re in boxes that clearly state what type of bulbs they are with a drawing. I would suggest keeping one of those bulb boxes for reference later on when they eventually need to be replaced. They give a neutral white light, and even at their brightest, they’re not too bright, which I like, since I prefer softer lighting. Overall, I’m quite pleased with these lamps. They look great at each end of my black vanity desk, and they came very well packaged. Delivery was fast. I’m happy with this purchase. ... show more

These are some nice looking lampsbut tgh here are a couple of issues. It's nice that they c came with light b bulbs but they were bright white and not soft white. The bright white bulbs gives it an office like setting. Not something you want on your nightstand while reading. I replaced them with soft white LED bulbs and that solved that problem. A major problem is that it kind of buzzes and flickers on the lowest dimmed setting when you have a usb cord plugged in. Another problem I noticed was that if you accidently touch it in two places at the same time it will sometimes flicker on and off continuously until you touch it again. Like I said though, these lamps look nice but there are those little things to look out for ... show more

So wasn't sure about ordering a lamp online, having not seen it in person. But in this case, I was glad I did. Super quick shipping. Everything nicely packaged. These lamps are perfect "nightstand" size. Not too big, not too small and with the TWO USB's I keep both my Kindle & my phone right at hand and fully charged. There is also a "regular electrical switch" if you have an alarm clock, you want to hook up to this. The LED is 3 way, dim, bright & brighter, perfect white light for the bedroom. Overall I love these lamps. They arrived in perfect condition. I like how they look, clean lines, and how convenient the 2 USB plugs as well as the A/C one. Yes, the all work when the lamp is off. My one criticism is that the first light level is much brighter than I would like. MUCH brighter! I will be looking for a lower lumens 3 way light in future. Also, in a perfect world, I would love the touch to only work when you touch, say, for a full second, so that they wouldn't turn on for example, when you brush against them in the middle of the night reaching for something near it. Legitimately the worst product I’ve ever bought on Amazon. You accidentally touch any part of the lamp and it just start flashing. ANY PART OF IT. HOW THE HELL AM I SUPPOSED TO PLUG IN THE USB AND NOT TOUCH THE LAMP. My fiancé and I want to throw them away but refuse to admit defeat. Sleeping in pitch black…??? If you want this product plugged into a light switch to turn it on and off, do not buy this product. Doesn't work with a light switch. If you use it with a light switch and turn it on, wait a maximum of 2 seconds and turn it back on, then it would be considered to work with a light switch. For the rest of the people who turn off the switch and turn it back on via the switch, the light will not turn on. You will need to touch the lamp to turn it on while the wall switch is on. ... show more
