The only thing I found vexing was the fact that I needed to put the shade together on my own. No where in the description did it say or show that the shade had to be assembled by the purchaser. While I understand that shipping a fully assembled shade could prove to be more prone to damage, I think it would be better customer service if the manufacturer let you know that up front. The media could not be loaded. Where do I begin? There are so many defects with this lamp set that I am surprised Amazon lets it remain on the site. 1. The touch function doesn't work on the base. See my video. 2. The assembly required shades are cheap, lumpy, and one will not even attach to the top ring. 3. The bronze finish clashes horribly with the brass harp and white painted shade rings. 4. Charging only achieved 1.4 Amps, not 2 as claimed. The lamp also turns on every time I unplug the phone so you can't use it bedside at night. 5. The base is cheaply welded and you can see melted metal around the edges. 6. The 5 ft cord is too short to reach the plug, and the lamp is just 20 inches tall, forcing me to look at the clashing materials and lumpy shade edges. This generic knock off is a waste of time and money. I would be ashamed to have it in my home. Don't settle for cheap Chinese factory copies of American designs, spend a little more for quality. Love the design; however, after less then a week the touch apperatice failed in one of the lamps. Very Dissapointed after speaning $80. Contacted Amazon and they forwarded a request to the seller. No response at all.

Product arrived very quickly - same day! - and was well packaged. Assembly was really quick. Two reasons for 4 stars instead of 5: 1. These are way better for a bedroom than a living room because they are TINY. I didn't notice the overall height when puchasing - oops! 2. One lamp's upper bulb socket/knob are quite wobbly. I don't care personally as these lights will operate on a timer, but the wobbly light probably won't last as long with continual manual operation. The other lamp is rock solid though. Guess it's a bit of a quality contol issue. Overall, though, you get 2 good looking lamps for a decent price. ... show more

I would have given 5 stars but one of the lamps the touch sensor does not always work on the dimmer bulb. It will work fine all the way to bright but there are times we can not get it to turn off. We end up resorting to having to unplug the lamp. Other than that I do like the style of the lamps just wish the one would work properly ... show more

I love the look of the lamps however the shade wasn't a true shade you had to unroll it and clip it in. The nightlight on the bottom is much more brighter than the lampshade light. The nightlight has 3 settings where the top lamp only has on off. Just seemed all backwards to me and overall just disappointed in what I purchased. ... show more
