    • Short, but great features!
Much like everyone else stated, these lamps are very short for night table lamps. They are also pretty cheap. So, I give high ratings because they are SO useful! The base has a built-in USB plug as well as an outlet, in addition to tap light instead of turn on light make it so useful it is a very good night table lamp. I'm now used to the small stature. They do look decent due to their design. The shade comes in a roll which wraps around an upper and lower round wire circles. Because I have no mechanical ability at all, I did learn the hard way that you should wrap the shade around the lower circle first and attach with the velcro prior to wrapping around the upper wire. I did one of the lamps the other way and the shade did not fit properly and I was disappointed. That's when I learned that it makes a difference on which way the shade is attached. I reattached the with the bottom rung first and it all fit perfectly. I regularly use the USB connector at night for charging my cell phone. It works! And, it is very convenient. I really don't miss the lead crystal lamps I had before that I accidentally broke. ... show more

Oh my, these lamps came in this medium size box. I would say it didn’t look like a box that would have two lamps in it and two lamp shades so I was already disappointed, but oh my, when I opened up the box, the lamps I think a child could probably put them together. It’s so easy, and you need no tools at all, I put these lamps together in less than 10 minutes, they’re absolutely beautiful perfect size lampshades everything and I can tell you, if I have to give a review on these lamps, run get them they’re excellent and the price was fantastic nothing was broken or wrong with them I give them 100% there’s nothing I can say bad about these lamps just get them! Oh I Almost forgot you can touch the light anywhere on the entire light, it has three different settings low medium and high and you can touch it anyway there’s no switch to look for under the lamp shade yessss, and find the switch which could be a pain in the, I’ll let it go, just get these lamps! I just forgot, they also have a port to charge your phone, I just cannot say enough about these lamps!!! For us older persons, you will not have to look for the lamp switch in the middle of the night, it can be darkest of dark, just reach out and touch, your lamp will come on any where you touch it, I am overjoyed with this product. ... show more

My mother's eyes are fading, and she needed more light. I assembled these lamps within minutes, and was grateful for the included bulbs. Best of all, is that my mother loves the ease of tapping, rather than turning the switch, and she can adjust the brightness, according to her needs. She also brags to her friends that she can plug in her phone, her tablet, her hearing aids, and her night lights on her nightstands, without having to worry about extension cords, or power bars.     • The lampshades are low quality
These lamps were really pretty. I loved the touch off and on option and I liked the usb port In the lamp too. But the lampshades left a lot to be desired. You have to put them together, which means you get a roll of material and two plastic hoops. You then have to wrap the material around the small hoop and the big hoop. The little fasteners inside the shades worked on some and not on others. It was hard to get it even and lined up on top and bottom. The lamp shade was easy to put together. They come with a three way bulb. This is great because these are going on my nightstands, so I can reach out and touch the base and turn on the light and not blind myself. The lamp has a plug on the base so you aren't loosing a plug. The one thing I noticed is that one lamp is slightly taller, but they are not going to be next to each other and it is very slight. All the advantages of this lamp make that a non issue. I am seriously considering buying another set and painting it to go in another bedroom. ... show more
