First let me say the box had been cut open for inspection at some point and the bag containing the screws and bolts had spilled into the bottom of the box...thankfully everything needed to assemble the classic stools were still there! The seat part is solid wood, the legs and feet are solid and sturdy iron and very heavy. Assembly took less than 30 minutes. It matches perfectly with the eat in kitchen set and adds variety to the table. I would order again if needed. I would believe the set comes from china reason for the inspection of the box. The tools are in a labeled bag attached to the top of the box which had been cut and taped closed.

I was hesitant to buy these stools (or any furniture for that matter), because so much of it is cheap and flimsy. Not these stools! They're exactly what I was looking for, for our extra-tall counter (48.5 inches). They're heavy and solid. Not flimsy. Better than the chairs I found at a local furniture store even. Love them!

Easy to assemble, distressed wood seat, iron base, swivel to adjust only! You have to lock the seat down once you have the height you prefer or the seat teeters and feels like it’s going to fall off! Tested at 30” and 165 lb person.

We have the potential to move fairly often so I wanted something adjustable that can fit in multiple configurations. Assembly was no more than screwing the seat into the base. The seat appears to be actual wood, and is sturdy enough for my kids to eat at the bar. The locking bar does come loose now and then and the seat will wobble slightly but it's super easy to retighten without tools.

I’ve been trying to find stools with a height above 30 inches for what feels like forever! The builder of our house made our bar area almost 50 inches. I am so happy to have found these extra high bar stools that are not only trendy, but also high quality. I have mine up almost as far as they go and haven’t had any issues. The only thing I wish they had was grippers on the bottom of the feet. They do tend to slide a bit with the being up so high, but only slightly when getting on/off, so not a deal breaker for us. Love the modern farmhouse industrial look!

Wasn’t totally for sure of the copper color till we got them. They are beautiful! Easy to assemble, and very sturdy. I like the adjustable height! If I had to change anything, I would add more wax to the distressed seats, which I added a wax furniture polish! Great chairs, thanks!!!
