It fits pretty good. It does seem to move around a little but it's easy to push it back to the right spot. It was much more firm at first. Overtime it has softened up a bit. Fits ours king size like a glove, slips right on and stays. We've been using this for a few months, and love it. The cooling is noticeable compared to our previous topper which was straight memory foam. It's serta so it's no surprise it's high quality.

We just purchased a brand-new King sized firm mattress - it's wonderful, but I was looking for a mattress pad to layer on top to soften the firm mattress, as well as give a bit of a luxury vibe. I love that this is both cooling, as well as a mattress protector. Full disclosure - we have a dog, so I may keep my current mattress protector for added projection and then layer the Serta PowerChill on top. Both us and the dog love the cooling effect, and the mattress pad gives a nice cushion for ergometric support. I like the pad as opposed to a down feather mattress topper (which I had years ago) as the latter has feathers that can shift and get lumpy, while the mattress pad provides consistent support. The Serta Power Chill Cooling Queen Elastic Fitted Mattress Protector comes with a zipper storage bag. The thickness is a little thinner than a coverlet. What piques my interest is the cooling feature ("Cool-Hex technology, designed to turn heat into cooling comfort"). Been sleeping on this for several nights now, it is comfortable. While still experiencing a little heat here and there under the comforter, noticed that the sweating is significantly less in frequency, duration, and amount. Also feels that the sleep quality is better resulting from waking up less in the middle of the night due to heat. ... show more

The Serta Power Chill Cooling King Mattress Pad fits well on my king sized bed and adds a little more cushion and comfort to my bed. While it does keep accidental spills and small messes from reaching the mattress if removed quickly, you're definitely going to want to look at a different product for 100% waterproof protection for more substantial messes or diaper leaks. It's easy to remove and toss in the washer though it does take my dryer at least 2 cycles to complete drying. It's made well and seams appear to be pretty strong and covers edge to edge of the mattress. It seems to stay in one place pretty well no matter how restless the sleeper. ... show more

I’ve been using this mattress pad for a few nights now. It definitely had upgraded my bed and I’ve gotten great sleep while using it. The thing that caught my eye was that this pad claims to have a cooling effect. I personally don’t notice any cooling effect but the pad is incredibly nice for comfort. It’s not super thick and bulky and it’s not too thin either. It doesn’t move around on my mattress at all either even if I shift my body.
