We purchased a new Sterns & Foster mattress and while it is very comfortable, it has peaks and valleys that make the bottom sheet wrinkle quickly. I purchased this pad for that reason; to cover the indentations but I never expected such comfort. It is thick and soft and the bonus, it is cool to sleep on. I was really hoping this pad was going to be more cooling than it is. So when you first lay down it’s very cool but it quickly gets warm. It’s comfortable. I seriously thought about returning it but it’s not annoying enough to get rid of it if that makes sense! Truly remarkable! I sent my daughter to camp with this product, as she is a counselor and makes camp "home" for 9 weeks every year. Sleeping in cabins over the summer means utilizing any and all cooling tips and tricks, and this was effective! We were both pleasantly surprised that it did not have a heavy scent upon unboxing, it didn't crinkle or make noise as she was moving in her sleep, and she inadvertently tested the waterproofness by spilling her water bottle on her bed, and found that it held up to the promise! 10/10, would buy again. ... show more
