I spent several weeks studying convertible loveseat sleepers before considering my purchase. Reviewers on Amazon and multiple other retail sites almost unanimously gave very high ratings to the Serta loveseat (and sofa) sleepers. So, I went with the Serta in the Charcoal gray color. It took almost a month to receive my loveseat sleeper, but it was worth the wait. It arrived on my doorstep on a Saturday evening in a very large, heavy box. The shipping box was a little beat up, but inside the loveseat parts had been packed really well and everything was in pristine condition. I did need the assistance of a second person to get the loveseat unpacked and into my house. Aside from easily attaching the loveseat arms, there was no further assembly required. The back mechanism and pull-out footrest work smoothly and perfectly, converting to a full-size bed effortlessly. The upholstery fabric used for this loveseat is soft but looks durable. A contrasting white piping adds a nice design detail to the look. All of the cushioning of this loveseat is firm (but not too firm) and makes it more ideal for the sleeper function. This couch is well constructed. It has real upholstery fabric. It is comfortable as a couch. It is firm; I have fallen asleep on it many times, but would recommend a memory foam topper if it is going to be used as a guest bed. The mechanism to pull out the couch is easy to pull out and put back in. It was easy to assemble, though it was pretty heavy for me and my partner to get up the stairs. ... show more

I was pleasantly surprised with this convertible sofa. The quality is fantastic , the couch is firm but comfortable, the grey color was as expected. The size is perfect for our office, this is a full size so smaller than a queen. It will be used for grandkids or 1 adult I think quite small for 2 adults. It’s easy to turn from sofa to bed. I saw this exact same sofa on another website for $200 more….couldnt be happier with this purchase! ... show more

So far it seems perfect. We'll know more once someone sleeps on it overnight. The weight limit might be a little difficult if there are two people. Hope your guests are on the skinny side. But it fits the room and our needs so far.

Love this couch! The color is a very nice grey (not as silver as the pictures which I was happy about). It’s super comfy and sturdy in the couch, lounger, and recliner. It’s a great size - can fit two comfortably. It was easy enough to assemble by myself (and I’m 5’2” woman not particularly strong). The only small thing I don’t like are the little button things all over the cushions but not a big enough thing to take away a star. Overall really happy with this purchase :) ... show more

This sofa bed is awesome. It is a perfect fit in our safe room. It is wide enough and long enough for two people to sleep on. It is pretty firm. The only thing we had to put on was the sides of the sofa. It takes two people to do that. The legs were already attached and the mechanism on the pull out was already together. The Java color is a little lighter than the picture. It is pretty heavy in the box. We got ours in the house using dolly rollers. We took it out of the box in the living room and then moved it into the smaller safe room before we put the sides on. That made it easier to get thru the doors. Well satisfied. It is pretty FIRM. 😎 ... show more
