The mattress is very comfortable and great to sleep on. I don't know if 7 inches is enough, but we have a topper on it and that works. The only thing I don't like about this mattress, is that it does not go all the way to the corners. It is sliding around a bit in our bed, it feels it is missing some inches on each side. Sleep quality is good though, my back is no longer complaining and I am not burning up either. I got it because it is a Serta. I am glad that this mattress works for us. This mattress is great, I purchased this for my teenager as he had a spring matress and he had not been able to sleep for a while due to the uncomfort level. He would complain constantly, I purchased this for him and he has been sleeping soundly since we bought it. Overall we are satisfied.

I needed a very low profile mattress to use on a daybed and this was perfect at only 7 inches. It arrived in less than 24 hours, and was easy to get out of the plastic packaging with the tool provided. It's very comfortable and overall a great mattress. However, like some other reviewers noted, the mattress is smaller than advertised. I ordered a twin and it has been nearly 3 days and it is a solid 2" too small the whole way around. I've measured it and compared it to the measurements listed and it's simply too small. My daybed will mostly be used as a couch, so luckily it will work for my purposes, but if it was a regularly used bed the significant gap between the mattress and the bed would be a problem, especially if it was for a child's bed because there would be a concern of an arm or leg getting stuck. I'm mostly happy with the purchase, but I would take the size issue into consideration if you're thinking of ordering this. ... show more

My back. I had back surgery in 2005 and haven't slept on mattress since-to painful. Then I slept on a Friend's serta mattress and it was the first mattress that helped my back so I could sleep. Before that I could only sleep on a couch. Best item I ever bought.😊
