  • Not as good as frozen
Hopeful this would work. My local pet store stopped selling the frozen brine shrimp. Bought this thinking it would work for my tetras. It did for about a month. Then they stopped eating it. The stuff floats at the top, as opposed to sinking down (like the frozen do) and the aquarium gets dirtier faster. Going to have to drive farther to go back to the frozen brine shrimp, but it will be worth it. Will use the rest as plant food for my outdoor plants. Won't purchase again. ... show more

  • Excellent Value for Your Money 💰
The fish really like this brine shrimp. I was using another brand OMEGA, the fish went Piranha over it! But it was very expensive, so I needed to find another brand that gave more food for the money. This is it. The fish like it, a lot of food, the cubes are intact, not powderized like some cubed brine shrimp can be at the bottom of the container. I highly recommend this brine shrimp. ... show more

  • My African cichlids LOVE this
I have a tank of peacocks/haps and another tank of mbunas. We bought this food for the peacocks/haps and they absolutely love this. They go nuts for it! We hadn't given it to our mbunas since they are herbivores, but we decided to give them a little and see if they liked it and they absolutely do. We used to give them the frozen brine, but it's a bit more expensive and of course you have to keep it frozen. With this kind, I can keep it on the shelf with the other food and it's a lot cheaper. ... show more

  • Happy fish 🐠
My fish love it! I’ve been feeding my fish dried brine shrimp for about 3 years in addition to marine flake. I have clown fish, yellow tang, coral beauty angle fish and green cromis. All the fish go after the brine shrimp. I break up a cube and add about half a few times a week. I put the powdered stuff in the tank also for the coral to catch. I was buying San Francisco brand, for more money. This is perfect, I don’t have the time or space to hatch and grow live brine shrimp. ... show more

  • Fish won’t touch the stuff
I thought I would give it a try after I read the reviews. My rainbows and Severum normally love this stuff from another brand, they can’t ever get enough of it. After opening this one it smelled old and just “off”, it’s really powdery too, the normal brine shrimp I get breaks up into little ones this one just turns to mush. The fish gobbled it up at first then spit it out and will not touch the stuff anymore, I’ve tried for 2 weeks now and they hate it. I’ll go to the local lake and give it to the fish there so it’s not a complete waste. ... show more

  • Turns platys and guppys into piranhas, haha!
The media could not be loaded. Great quantity for the price. And once I've used this product now for a month plus I am super impressed with the quality also! I'm feeding a horde of highfin painted platy hydrids and guppys. Also my sword tails and killifish love this also! I use a shot glass full of tank water to hydrate the cubes and dump them into the filter current to disperse them quickly. Absolute feeding frenzy! ... show more

  • Value
I have 6 aquariums in my home and my last order of brine shrimp lasted me 3 months. My fish beg for these cubes. I just ordered my second order and I’m sure I’ll be back for more.

  • Get ready for bloodworm infestation
I have had aquarium for many years, never seen bloodworm. The only reason I could think of is this which I introduced about 3 weeks back. I am guessing the brine shrimps are mixed with ground bloodworm and likely carried bloodworm eggs.
