The media could not be loaded. This pump was a bit pricier than I would have liked but every last bit of worth it. It is built of solid materials and is very quiet for its power. It does a fantastic job and I couldn't be happier. I installed this in a 5000 gallon pond. It pulls water from a skimmer 10 feet away, and a aqua sieve bottom drain filter that is buried at ground level. It pulls water in, sends it through a bead filter, then a UV filter, and then out to the waterfall and a TPR jet in the side of the pond. It has incredible output even after all that. I had previously purchased another brand (a cheaper product at $350) and the sun ate up the plastic at the seals and began to leak. I bought a second one (same model) and the output was less, so now I couldn't trust the brand. I should have just done it right the first time, because those two pumps basically cost me what this one did. The pump goes from off to full power effortlessly. Another tip of the hat, these motors are manufactured in the United States.

The pump provided more water flow to my water fall and filter tank that is about 40 feet away than the water flow of my two 1/6 HP Bel & Gosette pump that were replaced. So I am very happy with the ne2 pump. It is little bit more noisy and hope it will last as long as the old pump.

First, this is a really nice pump. I have not found a pump that has this many Gallons per Hour (GPH) and uses this little amount of electricity. But I'm writing these points as tips for any future Koi pond enthusiast. 1. This unit does not self prime, and priming it is annoying if you have the pump above the water level. 2. Get a big and decent filter that is easy to clean. The impeller assembly makes for powerful and efficient work, but loves to get clogged. 3. Keep the unit in an easy to access place, as basic maintenance is much easier when you have access to the whole unit. The other pumps at hardware stores may cost a couple hundred bucks less, but their wattage is 4 times this and their GPH is up to half this unit.

I just now put this pump into service as a replacement for a long-serving Sequence pond pump that finally gave out for good at 4 AM this morning. It had become noisy, so I ordered this new Sequence pump a couple of days ago to have in reserve. Installation was pretty easy and the pump is performing very well, and is very quiet. My previous pump lasted over 14 years, and it was in continuous service that whole time. It had a Baldor motor, whereas this one has a Marathon. We shall see if the new one lives up to its name...

Works as described, low power draw, great flow had a 1 hp before this appears to pump just as much water.

Very quiet. Used with double waterfall that is about 5 feet above pump level. Provides ample water flow.

Adapted to 3" pipe and priming pot with about 14 feet of head - 7 in elevation and the rest in pipe and fittings for a waterfall feature. Plenty of flow, absolutely silent operation. Very satisfied!
