Just arrived on a Sunday. Very nice. Finish perfect. All in order. I’m very pleased with the tidepool color, I’ll be taking the Aquila’s off as the aren’t my cup, but this is an elegant ukulele. Through my Roland and my Spark, it’s just great. Very pleased. After a few days with it, I see some small debris sprayed into the finish but very tiny, and some irregular dimples in the wood but overall still a great instrument. After writing this , I purchased the White one. It came during the mainland blizzard, and was out of whack to the extreme. Not panicking, I let her rehydrate here in Hawaii for two weeks, put Tenor strings with a low G and shes plumped up perfectly and is a growler. While this ukelele is on the pricier side, it's definitely well worth the investment. It's a gorgeous instrument that's well built (because Fender), comes with a color screen digital tuner built into the side (that's extremely accurate), and it also comes with an output jack. This thing sounds killer plugged into an amp with a clean tone and some nice reverb and delay fx. Only complaint is that there's no where to put a strap on it. Still though, great buy. ... show more

beautiful uke! it arrived yesterday and I'm already learning some fleetwood mac on it. tunes easily and has a nice sound. I'm using it with a mini Donner amp and so far I'm very happy. the only change I plan on making are the strings, but I would recommend this for beginners and frequent players alike. it's a fun instrument to own! ... show more

The neck is a little chunky. You would think if Fender was making electric guitar model versions of ukuleles, they would at least have a way to attach a strap? The Epiphone Les Paul models have a strap option and play fluidly. I still like the aesthetics. I'm interested in trying it out with an amplifier now. ... show more

It's what you'd expect from a Fender for a price you would not expect. My wife and I went to the Jimmy Buffett concert in Indianapolis earlier this year and Jimmy was playing one of these (an identical version). I do play guitar but had never played a uke. My wife thought JB's was really cool and asked if I could play a ukulele. I said, "No, but I've always wanted to learn." She said I should get one like Jimmy's and I told her that I figured his cost $600 or more. Turns out I was way off. Jimmy has had some strap buttons added to his that doesn't come on the regular version but otherwise it's the same. Great tone, love the preamp/tuner, sounds great though my Positive Grid Spark. This is definitely not a toy. It is concert size so it's bigger than a soprano ukulele (the one I'd say most people are familiar with) but smaller than a tenor. ... show more

I love the built in tuner. It makes it easier to tune and play. The shape is great and the sound is good. It goes through the amp well and the crowd seems to enjoy it. A nice Fender!
