This fountain was easy to assemble by myself, inside my air conditioned house, on the kitchen island (I put down a layer of cardboard to protect the counter surface. My wife liked that idea) so there was no sweating by the pond, with all the parts spread out on the ground. I used a garden cart to carry it down to the pond from the house (but if you have a 12 year+ child, get them to help you carry it). The two 70' guy wires and 100' electric cord make a great anchoring trio. I was able to attach each to a tree instead of using the stakes provided. This provided a very secure placement. It is easy to adjust the placement by tightening and loosening the guy wires. I discovered my pond is about 6' deep in the middle. I secured the guy wires temporarily to nearby trees, waded with the unit into 4' water, then waded back to shore to move the wires to different trees to adjust the position. I didn't use a boat, just waded in creek shoes and jeans. IMPORTANT NOTE: the bottom was muddier and thicker than I anticipated, and if you lose your balance because your weight shifts and you can't move your feet quick enough to maintain your balance in the muck, YOU WILL DROWN IF YOU DON'T HAVE SOMETHING TO HANG ON TO. It's a matter of the water being too deep for you to push up from the bottom with your arms. So have a friend with you and DON'T LET GO OF THE FLOATING UNIT if you start to fall; consider bringing a long stick to help you keep or regain your balance. And don't forget the friend! The fountain worked perfectly on the first try, and it was easy to adjust the placement by moving the wires to different trees. The fountain is large and beautiful, and the first day it began improving the water in my pond! I would definitely buy this product again. NOTE: While the directions are common sense, the English was written by someone who was not a native speaker and their spell-checker did not correct the errors, so you will need to read and decipher the directions a couple of times to make sure you understand everything. ALSO, the directions call for a hex Allen wrench. You don't need an Allen wrench; you need two socket wrenches. And it would be a good idea to buy 8 large washers to place on each end of the four bolts that hold the float plate in place. While this might be unnecessary, it is a good idea. ONE MORE NOTE: if you have a magnet on a telescoping rod, bring it with you to the pond. if you drop a metal part in the water, it will be a lot easier to find!

The fountain works well and includes 4 spray heads - 2 of each style. Some parts are plastic and the unit seems to be well made. The included cables and anchors are nice and plenty long. A missing item was fulfilled in 5 business days when I notified the manufacturer located in China. Communications were promptly answered. No warranty information is included with fountain other than contact info, which worked. The directions are basic, but with an enclosed diagram, assembly is not hard. Appears to be well worth the money.

The unit comes with two head patterns. The unit is decent, but it's not hard to add more spray patterns (heads). I may end up 3D printing different ones. The unit is consuming 700 watts. I feel it's a little much considering the amount of water that's being sprayed. The unit has been working for over a month and it's been solid so far!

We bought this a year ago and it was wonderful all summer. We stored it in the barn and cleaned out the filter. We are now putting it in the pond for the first time this spring and the water flow only comes up a few inches instead of the full, beautiful fountain spray. What is going on here?

The media could not be loaded. I thought I was buying a simple pond fountain. You know, to make the water look fancy, maybe impress a frog or two. What I got instead was a life-altering aquatic experience that has utterly transformed my pond—and possibly my entire identity. Before: sad, stagnant water. Frogs looked mildly disappointed. Ducks didn’t even make eye contact. My fish were holding tiny protest signs demanding better conditions. After: Absolute aquatic euphoria. This fountain burst forth like the finale of a Vegas water show and whispered, “You are now the ruler of a magical kingdom.” Birds started harmonizing. Neighbors stopped by with offerings. A turtle stood up on two legs and gave me a slow clap. I swear I heard the opening notes of a movie soundtrack every time the fountain kicked on. And let me tell you—it’s not just a fountain. It’s a statement. A declaration that mediocrity has been banished and drama reigns supreme. My pond now looks like it’s about to host an enchanted party with fairies and swans in formalwear. This fountain didn’t just change the water. It changed me. 10/10. Would dramatically transform my backyard again, and my life. P.S. Get the light kit, your wife will thank you.
