I have had a couple of these fountains and I love them. You do have to stop and clean out the pump filter. If you notice the water pressure seems low check out the filter on the pump. Its it easily removed and rinsed off and replaced. Also many people are complaining abot the fountain wandering all over inside a birdbath. I tried many things and ended up taking a tomato cage, find out which circle on the cage fits around the inside center of your birdbath and cut the circle out leaving metal sticking UP from the circle this way your fountain can float around but no further than the diameter of your metal circle.

this little fountain works perfect in my bird bath. the solar is powerful enough to keep it going and the stabilizers around the edge keep it centered, and the water in the bird bath. I really like this and the birds do too. I can tell because every once in awhile the birds get wild in there and detach the stabilizers. LOL they are easy to put back and it has only happened a time or two.

On all settings the water jet, especially on sunny days is fantastic. But—-the jet is so vigorous it overshoots the 12” diameter bath I purchased on this site with the jet. Within an hour all the water was out of the fountain onto the soil. 2nd mistake: I cut the plastic sticks too short so it can’t be clamped in place (my fault not the product. I am unsure how to solve the water loss problem—keep it in the shade, buy a bigger waterbath, try reorder the plastic rod, don’t cut, and weight them down with rocks.

I assembled the fountain on a cloudy day to experiment with the nozzle types, and it started spouting immediately! It has been working even with no sun, daylight alone starting it up. Strong sunlight makes the spray higher. I've been using it with no spray nozzles, and it works as a nice bubbler for the birdbath. There are various nozzles for spray patterns, clear instructions, extra filters for the pump, all nicely packaged. The plastic pipes work well to keep the fountain centered. Simple to use, and definitely worth the price.

Amazing little pump/fountain. The only problem I've had with this is that the water sprays up in the air about a foot tall and on a windy day the wind blows all the water out of my bird bath. The bird bath is 14 inches in diameter. A birdbath about 24 inches in diameter is needed to keep the water from blowing away.

Specifically for me this is a BAD purchase!! My birdbath (photo 1 in morning) gets afternoon sun, tested this on my deck in the morning (photo 2) and it works fine. Unfortunately there’s no one home in the afternoon to enjoy the birds or refill the water in the bird bath. The plastic bowl was FULL when I began my test- and in FULL sun- the spray can empty bird bath quickly. There’s NO charging the solar panel- it ONLY works when the sun is out- so sorry birds on an overcast day. Literally STOPS working if I stand in the sun beam. NO back up battery for overcast days, I’m 100% returning for a better product!

The extra power is helpful. Better than the lower watt models. Only complaint is that is stopped working after a few weeks. Filter was clean. Sun was out. I was planning on returning it and then thought I'd just smack it on the concrete. A few hard taps on the concrete with the motor and it works again! So please try this. Don't smack the solar panel. Smack the motor. Birds are happy again!

I was pleasantly surprised to find that this fountain worked great right out of the box. No tubing or solar panels to set up. Just put it in my wine barrel water pool and when the sun is out it works! Can't say for sure how long this will last but I'm impressed so far.
