  • Calms my cat and me too 😌
Color: Purple Size: 1 Count (Pack of 1)
Starts working right away on my cat. I buy this collar when i have to leave my cat whenever i go on vacation. That way when the cat sitter checks on her she’s calm. I’ve bought the treats too and she likes them. The collar does have a significantly stronger medicated lavender-ish smell right of the box, but then subsides. Makes me and my Tiki feel calmer 😽 ... show more

  • Simply the best.
Color: Purple Size: 3-Count
These are great! It has helped our cats with moving cross country, getting introduced to new cats, getting introduced to new dogs, ect. It doesn't help with random marking so far that I've seen, but our high strung cat is way more relaxed and less likely to take an eye just because someone down the street slammed a door shut. The one problem with them is that they tend to be easy for a clever cat to escape from because of the "breakaway" feature. You can keep them from escaping by wrapping a rubber band around the band of the collar a few times, then slip the excess band into that once on the cat. Depending how tight the rubber band is the harder it will be for the collar to "breakaway" so use your best judgement. The point is to just give it a little friction so they can't wedge a foot under it and send it flying(like mine have in the past). Remember that a cat collar should be tight enough that you can only slip two fingers into it- otherwise they run the risk of getting it stuck in their mouths. This happened to us because my husband swore up and down that was too tight and I came home to our kitten having it stuck in her mouth all day. Please to report that she suffered no long term ill effects but it stressed her out a LOT and she was visibly panicked. One more thing, I have tried a variety of other "calming collars" and this is the ONLY ONE that works consistently. ... show more

  • I had high hopes
Color: Purple Size: 1 Count (Pack of 1)
I really wanted this product to work. Great reviews. So I gave it a try to see if it could help my furbaby. Every evening he gets whiny and loud and nothing seems to quiet or calm him down. Im not sleeping and neither is he.. So reading the positive responses gave me hope. When I opened the bag there was no odor or anything.. In fact it looked like a ordinary collar. But I put it around his furry little neck and waited. No more than two minutes on he starts whiny again. About a month later and he's currently whining as I write this! I had high hopes for this product. Maybe I got a bad collar because it didn't smell like anything and sadly didn't work at all. Back to the drawing board! ... show more

  • Read the one star reviews!
Color: Purple Size: 1 Count (Pack of 1)
When I received this collar for my cat and opened it the smell was overpowering and I got sick at my stomach. I left it opened for a couple of days before introducing it to my cat hoping the smell would dissipate some. Which it did not. When I introduced it to my cat she took off running. I waited a few hours and had it ready to quickly sneak it over her head as she was sitting in my lap. She wasn’t happy at all. She was use to wearing a collar so that wasn’t an issue. I observed her most of the day and she ran around the house like she was trying to get away from it. I myself could smell it all through the house, which was not pleasant. Her attitude had changed and would not even come to me. She finally got it off herself. I got it back on her the next day thinking it would take time. I got this collar because she doesn’t get along with my other cat, which I had bought the same collar (from another place) for the second cat. Same scenario. Not only did they not get along, it became worse when the collars were on them. They both were fighting as never before. I mean hair flying fight. The so call quick release is not at all that. The collar slides back and forth and never stays in one place. I kept checking on them making sure the collar was in the right place. One cat had it stuck in his mouth pulling his mouth wide open putting pressure on his jaws as he was gagging. Thankfully I got it off. The other cat’s collar was so tight it was choking her. I couldn’t even get one finger between her and the collar. Later I found both collars laying on the floor with teeth marks. I assumed they were fighting to get the collar off. This happened over 3 days. I put the collars away and will return the one I got from Amazon. Once the collars were off and I got the smell out of the house my cats have actually acted calmer towards each other and now the first cat loves all over me as if she’s saying thank you for getting rid of the collars. That may sound silly but she follows me around and head bumps me like never before. These collars was a traumatic experience for them, they would not even eat, and I will never do it to them again. Read the reviews! I totally agree with the one star reviews. Some of them are really sad on what happened to their cat. Some people love the collar and says it helps. Decide for yourself to take the chance. The manufacturer needs to discontinue this product. I’m saying this because of my experience and the experiences of others. There are some good reviews, but I don’t know how some people love the smell. According to Wikipedia, a domestic cat sense of smell is 9 - 16 times stronger than humans so just imagine how it affects them. It affect me right out of the can. ... show more

  • Very hopeful. Strong fragrance. Easily adjustable.
Color: Purple Size: 1 Count (Pack of 1)
This is a long read but if you are a cat lover you will understand I'm at a crossroads. I had bought 1 & Cotton Candy Cobra Kai lost it the 1st week. However I did notice she was becoming more low key towards the others. As in you know how cats will mob you when you are on the toilet? Lol! Cottons was in there & 2 others entered & I got nervous because I was in a bit of a compromised position ! 🤣 not like I could jump up quickly ! But Cottons was calm & actually walked by the others! Walked! No hissing or growling. I was amazed! Imagine how upset I was when she lost it and I've looked everywhere for it! They are a bright purple which I like! Easy to see or so I thought. 🙄 So I bought a 2 pack. And they are cheaper on Amazon than Petco which is always out of stock and Petsmart is more expensive. All cats are neutered/spayed indoor only. Cottons has been bullying my tortie and guarding doorways or jumping on her to prevent her from entering a room etc. she also does not care for 2 of my other male Siamese. There has always been some growling/hissing & she has chased 1 calm cat & my male especially creeps up & tries to attack her, but it's amped up. No fighting but noisy. Cottons is 13 years old & momma's most protected cat since she was given to me as a 4 week old feral by my vet & is now the most loving affectionate cat towards me. It was 6-7 years before I could pet her without being attacked. The other collar is for my 3 yr old male Siamese TaiLeWen who has recently started marking on 2 chairs & certain walls no matter what enzyme cleaning products I've used! I have been VERY angry that he ruined a chair that I had for 5 years and all of a sudden he started marking it in spite of it being in the exact same place by my bed. So I threw it out. Then it was in different areas by my back door. I know why he's become edgy & it is because my neighbor's cat is always walking around outside in our yard. I bought a new leather chair and he's marked it 4x in spite of the assorted products I've used to break down the urine smell. I've even used the pheromone spray & have the pheromone diffuser plug ins throughout the house. Multi litter boxes such as an automatic one, a regular one and 2 that they enter from the top. Lots of interaction & affection, brushing, bottled water for pet water fountains. He will fixate on Cottons & rush her & this causes tension in the house especially at nighttime when I wake up to growling next to my pillow. Cottons even has her own bedroom that she goes into and sleeps curled up by the window with the door closed & no other animals are allowed in that room. These collars are male cat's last chance. Which is heartbreaking because he & his sibling are extremely bonded & she is so high strung she will not be able to adjust emotionally without him. Keeping fingers crossed. Will update after a few weeks. ... show more

  • Helps keep my cat comfortable during moves and trips
Color: Purple Size: 1 Count (Pack of 1)
I purchased this item to help keep my cat comfortable during very stressful events like moving or me being away for a few weeks on externships. I really believed that this collar helped her because she would spend less time hiding during stressful events when I had this collar on her. As a veterinarian, I of course was a little skeptical to how much this might help my cat. I have tried other brands to help calm her, however, the plug-in liquid diffusers made me SO worried because of all the fire hazard warnings. The spray pheromone option was also in consideration, but keeping up with spraying and refreshing the pheromones was unrealistic for me and her cat sitters. This collar seemed perfect to me, and I have purchased this twice already. The collar is pretty thick and long, so it is bound to fit any cat. Because it is long, however, you do have to cut off the excess length after applying and tightening the collar. I left enough space for 2-3 fingers so it wasn't too tight on my cat. Every time she has worn this, she has never attempted to remove it, scratched it, bitten it, or seemed uncomfortable while wearing it. The actual application was very easy, you just kind of apply it like a zip-tie and cut off the little end and that's it. However, because I have never seen her try to get this off, I can't comment on its safety and that was my only concern with the collar. I'm not sure what would happen if she got it caught on something and if she would be able to free herself. However, every time I have left this on her and gone on vacation, she always had a pet sitter or someone else at home to watch her. I do think that the collar works, and at least helps her adjust during stressful events. That being said, I have not used this for continuous, long-term use. I also think I see the best results because I only leave it on for the time it states the collar is effective for. After the effective date passes, I remove the collar. I had considered buying less expensive alternatives, but I tend to just stick with what works and this seemed to work for my cat. ... show more

  • Helped with litter box issues!
Color: Purple Size: 1 Count (Pack of 1)
I purchased this calming collar for my cat that was having litter box issues. It has a nice calm lavender scent. It did take him a few hours to get used to it. But it did help him a lot with correcting naughty behaviors and generally being more calm! The material is durable and does not come loose easily. ... show more

  • Misleading Seller
Color: Purple Size: 1 Count (Pack of 1)
Bought one at a pet store to try it out. It seemed to work pretty well. Our injured cat seemed more relaxed. After a month it was time for a new one, so I bought from this seller. The image and details for the "1-count" indicate it should have contained 3 collars. Image says "3 pack." Details says "Number of Items 3". There was only ONE collar. If you select the "3-count" the image says "12 pack" and the details says "Number of Items 12". Don't be fooled. ... show more
