This brush trimmer exceeds my expectations. Assembly was minimal. It starts easily. The engine is powerful and the trimmer line goes through weeds and brush easily. The only caveat is that tall wet grass causes a problem because it winds up and does not cut well. I've found this with all trimmers I've had. The Senix won't cut long wet grass well, but the plus side is long wet grass doesn't get caught up in the cutting mechanism requiring surgery. Filling the oil reservoir is a hassle if you don't have a good funnel.

Do not buy. I bought 8pm and canceled the following day at 8 am. Item was no yet processed. 2 days later they shipped it. Then was delayed and showed up at my door. This Item is NON RETURNABLE. So I tried it out. Parts of it are decent other parts flimsy and cheaply made. Does not spin fast enough to trim neatly. More or less rips weeds. Save yourself the 300 and get something else. I hoped would trim weeds on a rough rocky slope. Hand held string trimmer still works better. Lesson learned. Don’t buy non returnable items here.

****UPDATE**** The sputtering while running, not running, and hard starts are a surprisingly simple fix. During wither storage or transport it seems that the unit was left on its side, this caused the remaining test oil in the motor to find its way to the AIR FILTER. When I finally noticed that my air filter was oil soaked, I cleaned it with a couple drops of dawn dish soap a couple times until no more oil was present. After squeezing out excess water, blowing it with the air compressor, and finishing drying overnight, my mower now starts the FIRST PULL EVERY TIME without even priming. ****ORIGINAL REVIEW**** Arrived a day earlier than expected which was nice. The included oil for initial fill was a nice touch. The deck seems solid overall and the large rear wheels are perfect for my property. That having been said, my initial experience was not without a problem. Started great and ran strong in very deep grass/weeds for about 40 minutes, then it started sputtering like it was low on fuel. It looked like there was still plenty in the tank, but I topped it anyhow. After pulling the cord about 12 consecutive times it finally started again and ran for maybe about 5 minutes before dying and not starting again no matter what I tried. Thankfully, I have good mechanical knowledge. After checking the spark plug I found no problem, the filter was perfectly fine as it should have been. Only next step was to clean the carburetor. After removing and cleaning the carburetor with carb cleaner spray only and reassembly, it took a moment to start, but ran flawlessly afterwards. I'm still not certain that the primer bubble is working as it should since the next day it took a moment to get it started, but once warm it started first pull easily. This is not a problem from Senix, the is a problem from Briggs & Straton. Sad that this is the case as I had higher standards from such a reputable US company. I will be contacting them regarding this Overall, I am happy with my purchase and grateful that it was at such a good price. Also for anyone who has trouble with turning a heavier mower, I feel this is a good option as it isn't too heavy and maneuvers easily.

What I liked about this Senix 21-inch Gas Push Lawn Mower with 140 cc 4-Cycle Briggs & Stratton Engine is that it came pre-assembled. All I had to do was remove it from the box, unfold the Handle, and add Oil and Gas. You do have to move the pull cord handle up onto the mower handle but this takes about 5 seconds. The Oil comes with the mower and you simply use the entire container because it is sized for the mower. After inspecting blade and adding fluids, I hit the primer 3 times (as instructed) and gave it a pull and the mower started right up. I haven't used it to cut the lawn yet but plan to in a couple days. Once I have had some time mowing, I will probably post an updated review. Note: The pic on the left is the Senix mower and the pic on the right is my old mower which I had for years but is struggling lately. Update on 9/4/2024: I cut my lawn today with the Senix 21-inch Gas Push Lawn Mower and I can say it was a complete joy. I've been cutting Lawns since the age of 8 and I have never pushed a lighter lawn mower that had this much power. My Lawn is ~1/3 Acre and it was able to cut the yard on a single tank of gas; the mower started right up, ran great, and never bogged down. I am so happy with this purchase and hope my future cuts are as enjoyable as this one!

I purchased the 125cc engine for myself. I was satisfied with mower and shipment. My delivery was sooner than expected and box was rattling and shaking. Assembly was okay, only 1 bolt and nut were missing which supported the handles. I was able to hook it up anyway. I cut my yard, another yard and an empty lot (I'm guessing more than 1/2 acre). The cut was even, the machine was pretty quiet as far as mowers go, and gas was added near the end of the mowing session. I was satisfied with it, so I purchased the 140cc engine with large rear tires to keep at another property that isn't that close to where I live. That package was well secured. All parts were in place. Assembly was easy at this point. The mower worked as good as the other. I could tell the engine was a bit stronger and the large wheels mover better through the grass. I would recommend for simple yard maintenance and easy functionability.

This thing kicks a whole Lotta ass!!! Very happy with this machine,,easy to change the thick cables for mowing,,I got threw brush i haven't been able to get threw since using a real brush hog,,Absolutely worth it

I dont know what these 5 star reviews are talking about. If your gona spend this kind of money your better off getting a gas powered weed eater with metal teeth. This thing is trash. It struggled to cut regular grass…… let alone tall, thick field grass

Turns out this is quite reliable and simple. I like the exercise of pushing the mower. The big wheels help too. Things are a bit cheap on this mower which is why it isn't 5 stars. Motor reliability got it to 4 as that is really important. But important bits are plastic, like the throttle disconnect bar. The plastic broke within a week so bar just dangles.
