Works well and fast. Great addition to the house, our furnace works fine but the kerosene heater puts out a heat that seems to warm the whole house and seems to stick unlike the furnace heat that dissipated as soon as it cuts off.

This heater is heating the whole house at this point! Easy to use and the heat output is perfect during this time of year. It was easy to put together and is sold at a good price.

Great helper during the winter season.

This heater is our winter savior! It doesn't just heat the room, but does it in a much faster manner, thus creating nice and comfortable leaving environment when it's most needed. We usually use this heater in order to boost up the heating procedure and, once the temperature has been reached the desi
rable level, we turn it off. That helps to save the level of oxygen in the room, to save the fuel and the electricity. Another good feature of this heater is that it moves the excess moisture form the leaving space. We leave near the ocean and, in winter time, severe fogs, strong winds and ocean mist get "into the bones". The heater makes the room warm and cozy. The wick should be serviced regularly, according to instruction. It really helps maintaining the flow of the flame - and the life of the filter itself. Some people comment on the kerosene odour, and it's, indeed, evident during the refilling and at the moments of igniting-warming-up and of the extinguishing the heater. But sometimes some regular cooking brings more fume than this device does. And it, as well as the smell of the kerosene, goes away with a brief room ventilation. I personally do not find the smell of the kerosene much offensive. It's, of course, my personal opinion. Once it's heated, there hardly any smell at all. The same goes with the intervals of no usage: the canister is quite well isolated. The electronic ignition works well only with the fresh, new wick. Otherwise the spark eventually stops reaching the wick. I have expected that form the start and found that, even after proper wick adjustment, the ignition isn't as reliable as with the new one. But igniting the heater with the match is no hassle at all.

Heater broke after first month of use.
Size: 23,000 BTU

Purchased Dyna-Glo WK24BK 23,800 BTU Indoor Kerosene Convection Heater on October 30, 2021, from Amazon as an upgrade from my first kerosene heater that lasted about five years. Read the Dyna-Glo instructions three times to be sure of safety features and familiar with the operation. Followed all writ
ten guidance in owner’s manual. Heater worked fine, no issues through about the first five uses. Then the igniter stopped working. Replaced batteries twice with fresh ones. No change. Had to light manually with a fire stick. Used it a few more times over week of Thanksgiving. Then the wick would not raise all the way up with adjustor knob turned up fully clockwise. Tried raise/lower operation a few times. Did get it to light with fire stick. Eventually to wick raising mechanism stopped moving up. You can see it come up, just barely enough to see the top of the wick but could not get it to light. So, two product failures in first month of ownership. 1) Igniter has failed and 2) Wick raising mechanism no longer rises enough to light it. Contacted the manufacturer on November 30, 2021, and they wanted me to repair it. Replace the ignitor and the wick. That was a big ask…it was brand new. Then they told me they could not get a replacement ignitor. They offered an exchange/return. Since the fuel tank was loaded with kerosene return was not an option since no regular carrier would ship it with a flammable liquid or remnants of flammable liquids. I get it. Now I must empty it and let it dry down/evaporate and then pay my local township to take it away. I told the manufacturer I would take a replacement. Never heard back from them. Contacted Amazon on December 10, 2021. They contacted the reseller for a refund. Reseller never replied. On December 13, 2021, Amazon gave a refund of $80.13, 40% of what I paid. Not happy with the Dyno-Glo product, the reseller or service of GHP Group, Inc. I ordered a competitive brand (Sengoku KeroHeat CV23K(H) 23,500-BTU Indoor/Outdoor Portable Convection Kerosene Heater), that I had used before (10,000 BTU Reflective Kerosene Heater). It was delivered on December 17, 2021, and already got it running.

Loved it. Came on time, we have a cold snap that came into North Carolina, but I had no feel of freezing. Kerosene is 6.99 a gal, but it's ok. I stayed warm.
