Very happy with this heater which was purchased to heat a 1000 sf basement which it does. The control panel is on the top and it's very easy to change the settings. I like the fact that it oscillates to distribute heat evenly, and the glowing flame adds a cozy vibe. One minor annoyance - when I turn it on it defaults to fan mode. I assumed that since it's a heater it would start in low heat mode. This was only annoying because I forgot to adjust it a few times, so it was blowing the cold air around. Might've helped if I'd read the operating instructions... ... show more

4 stars since the remote doesn't work. Replaced battery, still nothing. Would also be nice if it rotated a little more than it does. Otherwise, nice unit, the fake flame is a little over the top but can be shut off. Puts out pretty fair amount of heat. Relatively quiet. Bad remote isnt a deal breaker to us. ... show more

    • Don’t waste your money:/
I love the look the style the fake lil fireplace, however it started making noises AFTER the return policy was up which is only 30 days. It won’t warm a room it’s like a small space heater in a big heater costume. It is nice if you sit directly in front of it. My little Lasko heater puts out more heat and covers a good distance away from it. This heater often when changing the heat setting will make a noise like I hurt it, then I’d use the remote still crying like a baby goat, next I smacked it, it stopped crying, now I’m in an abusive relationship with a heater. I’d really love to get my money back. ... show more

I love the design of the heater. The slim less of it is good also unfortunately it does not put out any more heat then your regular small $45 heater. The fake flames are nice to look at but again the most important thing is having a heater that produces the heat I needed for my farm house.
