Everything is correct,passwords match up and router but this stupid thing wont connect, the app you have to download for it is utter crap and the support page is a joke. It just hangs up on just trying to connect the passwords to the router. I saw another review having the same issue. really waste of money and time,even their app as pathetic rating.     • Read if you can't connect

These bulbs aren't great but I got them on sale. If you find them to be the most economical choice, go for it, but all of the reviews about connection issues and returns are not anomalies. If you are having issues connecting the bulb to your WiFi, try disconnecting from your mobile data before doing anything else. Close the app, or better yet, uninstall it, forget all WiFi networks for bulbs, ect. You can even delete your account through the Settings menu and re-register to truly start over cleanly. I could not connect any bulb to my WiFi network until I turned off mobile data, then all 3 of them connected in a row with no issue. I've only ever had an Android phone (Pixel 2 XL currently) and had this issue with connecting other 'smart' devices, so I don't know if it applies to iphones as well. My first recommendation is to go with a better brand with better support though. ... show more

Bulb is nice and bright, especially for a 60 watt equivalent. Setup was quick and easy using the iPhone app and scanning the QR code on the packaging. This bulb does NOT need a hub. Echo skill worked immediately upon enabling. Easy to dim via Alexa, just say “Alexa, dim (name) 50 percent”. Right now, I have no cons. I will be buying more of this brand. ... show more

I’m now holding on (10 minutes so far) to get customer support. I have worked and worked to get this connected, have followed instructions multiple times. I thought I had it working but I don’t. Don’t waste your money!!

    • Very difficult to link with Alexa [Echo]

Returned to Amazon after hours of following the instructions and not able to link to my Alexa network. The SENGLED Webb site is difficult it took 2 days to get a set-up confirmation code [check the JUNK File] then the bulb worked with ONLY the SENGLED APP. Two more days, trying to link to Alexa: frustration set in so I stopped going in circles and returned for a refund. Caution; the SENGLED product is all-over the Amazon claiming Alexa compatibility. After many tries I was able link the Bulb with the SENGLED APP and it worked. BUT.... If it will not link with Alexa for a simple Light Bulb, why would the SENGLED APP ever link with Alexa??? Just my Humble Opinion. and bought a TP-LINK bulb it cost more. ... show more

The concept of smart bulbs is fantastic. With that said I would love if they stayed connected. Since I installed two of the four bulbs purchased continue to go offline. It just depends which two decide to malfunction at what time. With that said I tried to save some money going with Sengled. In short I will be returning all 4 lights and will be buying what I hope will be a more reliable product. ****Update - I reached out to customer service (Kristin) and was blown away by the responsiveness and professionalism. Not only did she assist me in fixing the issue but also made the experience great. **** Here we are over a month later and I still have not received the new "working" lights as promised. I have been given every excuse under the sun. No update via email, no call, nothing in the mail. At this point I will be returning these lights to Amazon and wouldn't recommend anyone to make this purchase unless you enjoy buying products that DON'T work and then subsequently getting the runaround from the company about making things right. ... show more

PROS: I have a detached garage that I have power ran to and a outside light fixture for security and safety when leaving before dawn to work or coming home late, only problem is I never ran a switch to the house to turn that light on/off and really didn't want to dig another trench and buy more crazy expensive wire to get it working so this is my cheapest solution since i have internet. CONS: It only works if your internet is working, will not work on local internet, can not log into sengled app or Alexa to make it work unlike other devices I own that will work on local internet when there is a outage. ... show more

I went with this product because it did not require a hub but sadly could never get it to connect with our WiFi. I checked all the settings, passwords and requirements stated by the manufacturer but after 2 hours I could not get it to connect.
