It charges automatically while the light is on and stops charging when switched off, so it does not continue drawing power. —just install and enjoy. How bright is it, and which fixtures does it fit? It provides illumination comparable to an 80W incandescent bulb, making it suitable for larger spaces such as living rooms. With 1.5 times as many LEDs as other emergency bulbs, it has a larger body: 2.9 in. wide, 5.5 in. tall, E26/E27 sockets. Do I need to remove the bulb to charge it? What if it is stored for a long time? Not at all! It charges automatically while the light is on and takes about 6–9 hours to fully charge.
