I bought this light bulb a few years back. Then I bought a color changing light bulb, same brand. They still work, never have they gone disconnected from Alexa or home wifi. And it's because I've used these before that I chose to order a few more. Performance is fantastic. In this particular item, brightness is great. Set up for someone who isn't tech savvy is not too frustrating but just a tad just because I don't understand how to go from 5g wifi to 2.4/5 wifi. I don't know what I did but I get them connected. Once they are connected no more issues will be encountered. Alexa devices respond just great with this light bulb. I made the mistake to buy a smart light bulb from Walmart thinking convenience will be good. Paid what I paid for 4 of these for just one! And I am so unhappy with them. They disconnect from home wifi. Or only one responds not the other. Alexa devices won't always find their connection. Just overall experience. After my first sengled light bulb purchase I assumed all smart light bulbs would work just about the same. I WAS WRONG. I will continue to purchase and recommend sengled lightbulbs. My first purchase was in 2020 I think and they still work just as perfect as day 1. I truly recommend it, give them a try you will not regret it.

Do not buy these lights I have bought these lights the number of times i’ve recommended them to my mom. I recommended them to my friends and they bought them and like them I bought them for years for some reason this year they’re having lots of problems. Their app keeps going out on them constantly. I’ve lost so many of the smartbulbs because they won’t not just connect anymore. They won’t turn on anymore not even by the switch right now. They’re out again. System is down working with the Alexa. It does not work or lets you at all anymore it even says on Alexa when you try to connect, sorry this doesn’t work anymore with these bulbs and it’s not gonna work anytime soon. They’ve bent down for months. The app has been down from the sengled again this last week so I can’t use it. One of them is for my kitchen, which is the switch so it doesn’t work at all the switch stays on and I can’t get it on at all. I’m actually just ready to just take them and throw them awaythe last three I have out of the sixth that I did have in the last months. I’m just ready to take them and throw them away cause they stay down forever and then you have to really them up. Get rid of everything and re-link them up and forget it half the time a fold or two goes out completely in a wall turn back on you have to throw it away anyway something going on with them do not buy these bulbs buy something different. I do not recommend these bulbs anymore and I’m actually gonna throw the ones away at my mom’s because she needed those because they’re disabled and they’re not even working so buy something different. Do not buy these bowls. Do not recommend them anymore this pasted year I only have 3 bulbs left out of 9 bulbs I had

This is more of a warning to myself, than a message to others who are looking to purchase these bulbs. Don't buy them again. I thought they'd be fine, and I'd save a few bucks on some smart bulbs. We have power outages often, and our other smart bulbs never have issues. They remain connected, things work fine. But these bulbs - I have to reconfigure them so many times and it's not a quick process either. You need to delete each bulb, reconnect each bulb, reconfigure them into the rooms they were in for Alexa, and this is time consuming. After a few times, I almost gave up and just bought more of the other bulbs we have. I believe they're Philips Hue Bulbs. Much pricier but at least I only have to handle it once or twice. The bulbs are very bright. If you can look past this inconvenience, they work great. Have had them for years - responsive, they are bright and they dim well, and no other issue except that connectivity issue. That's just kinda gotten on my last nerve now but.. 🤷🏻♀️You get what you pay for.

I’ve had Eufy bulbs for years but lately 3 of the bulbs would not reconnect no matter how hard I tried, talked to customer service, traded emails, etc. I wasted so much time trying to get them set up again (like, hours) and reintegrated with my whole Eufy smart bulb set of lights. Time is money for me, so I finally just broke down and bought these bulbs instead, since Sengled has been around for a while, so the hope was they’d be easy and reliable. Well, omg, it was so unbelievably fast and easy to get each bulb set up and just like that - connected right up to Alexa as well, all within the Sengled app. Soo fast!! Amazing! Probably my only regret is that I ordered Daylight vs Warm, so these have a bit of a sterile hospital type lighting feel; I see the warm option now but they are a bit more expensive. If the rest of the Eufy bulbs start acting up, I’ll get more of these Sengled bulbs but in the warm option. Worthwhile purchase.

3 Stars to demonstrate the product does what it was intended to do. It is a light. It does turn on/off. It does work with Alexa. But over the course of time, I've become less impressed with this "hub-less" bulb. Most times when there is a flicker of electricity I have to delete each individual bulb and add them all over. Then I must go into the Alexa app and recreate the rooms with the newly installed light bulbs...otherwise, Alexa will not turn on/off the "bedroom". So that's annoying...really annoying. 06.18.2025: At 11:00PM I lost connection to Alexa when I asked for the lights to be turned off. I thought it was one of these common disconnection issue but was too tired to reset Every. Single. Bulb. The next morning (06.19.2025) I attempted to delete the bulb from within the app only for the screen to take its time loading and then NOTHING. No action. No error message, just the bulb still there with the delete button. This was the case for every single bulb. I then tried to put the bulb in pairing mode and tried to add it (even though it was still showing in the app) thinking maybe it was deleted but the app wasn't refreshing. This did not work either. So I logged out of the app in an effort to troubleshoot - but, I cannot login. Each time I try I get the "The operation failed, please try again" error message. I searched the internet for news from Sengled - *SPOILER ALERT* there was nothing posted by Sengled. I found a Reddit where other people were experiencing the same issue and decided to "live in yesteryear and manually control my lights for the day" while periodically trying to log into the app. 06.20.2025: I am still unable to log into the mobile app - therefore I cannot delete and reinstall the bulbs. An internet search at Status Gator shows the problem occurring on 06.19.2025 but looking like it was resolved today. Well, not resolved for me! And with the company (1) not answering my first email/contact us; (2) not publicly acknowledging a systemwide outage and the estimated duration until it could be fixed; coupled with (3) the ongoing connectivity issues is what leads me to just an average score of 3. Is it a lightbulb? Yes. Can it work over Wi-Fi connectivity? Yes. Is it an easy-to-use product? Yes, however it is annoying to individually reset with the slightest of connectivity. When the Wi-Fi goes down - Alexa may take her time, but I don't have to reset her on all devices.

Do not buy...App not working anymore and Alexa cannot control the bulbs...had used 4 and had 2 left went to use and cannot work because company cloud is not working and they are bankrupt so Alexa don't control anymore now I am stuck with bulbs that I cannot use and AMAZON DONT WANT TO REPLACE WITH BULBS THAT I can actually use....waste of my money
