My daughter has used this Boot Ice Skates for several months and she like it so much. It fits her feet well. The blade touches the ice, it is better to remove the ice from the blade after training.     • Great skates, but size up!
These skates are wonderful, but run very small. My daughter was just growing out of size 11 shoes and into size 12. I ordered a 13 in these skates thinking she could grow into them, but even those were too small. However, the skates were warm and otherwise comfortable for a beginner skater.

I love these ice skates. I bought them for my six year old daughter and they fit perfectly. I did as the others suggested and got a size bigger. They look even better in person. Nice pair of starter skates! The boots were not flimsy as some other brands, and provided adequate ankle support for a beginner. The skates arrived sharpened, even came with small blade guards....an added bonus! My 8 year old daughter loved these skates. As a former competitive figure skater myself, I found these skates to be a good choice for a casual, beginner skater. If your child decides to take weekly lessons and considers competition, you will want to consider a more professional boot/skate. But again, this boot is a nice alternative to the unsharpened, dull, rental skates often provided at ice rinks. ... show more

Nicely made skates, priced so well that it does make sense to buy versus rent even for occasional skater. My daughter likes going to the rink from time to time, and she is very happy with how skates fit, glide, and look. This is her second pair, and I will buy again once she grew out of it.
