I used this when I first bought it to cut and move some branches from a tree that fell in our driveway and already really liked it, but today takes the cake. We had a lot of overgrown trees in our front yard that we just really haven’t had time to do anything with but I finally got tired of looking at them and went at it today. I’m not a big person (5’3”) and have never used a big chainsaw (they scare me a little) so I was so happy I was able to use this one to get the job done. I was able to back our truck up to the tree and stand in the bed and safely cut branches down. I went through two batteries and one chain but I trimmed over 3 trees and hundreds of branches. It’s lightweight, easy to maneuver, and cut the big and small branches well. I pictured above the biggest branch I was able to cut vs how big the chainsaw is (don’t judge my technique I have no idea what I’m doing). I did all of that in about 2 hours including some water breaks and the time it took me to move the truck around the yard and put the branches into piles. Now just waiting on the batteries to charge (pro tip:if you have a big job to do plug the dead one up while you use the charged one-I didn’t do that) so I can finish trimming some of the bigger pieces and haul them off. I’ve already ordered more replacement chains to tackle the biggest tree we have to trim later in the week. Overall, the only complaint I have is that due to the safety buttons, it wouldn’t do well for a left handed person. I’m not left handed but I did try to switch hands to reach better and wasn’t able to so I just had to turn in a different direction to use my right hand. ... show more

    • Perfect Saw
This is the best little saw I've owned. This has great power and just keeps on going. We had 6 huge trees taken down on our property and you can imagine the cleanup process I had to go through. I started out with my larger chain saw to try and trim down all the branches to get to the larger limbs and trunk of the tree. After several minutes of doing this it became quite a challenge with the bigger chain. I ordered this little quy and the next day I was zipping through the branches like a hot knife through butter. The battery power is awesome and I still haven't depleted the first battery and haven't reached for the second one yet. Also great to have a case to pack everything away in at the end of a days work.     • A useful tool
I am happy with how well this saw works. My old saw has served me so many years and I decided to replace it with a cordless one. I bought it to cut firewood when I go camping, pretty easy to use and it slices through wood very fast, 5 inches of wood in a couple of seconds, which is amazing.

    • A useful tool for small jobs that a shear can't handle
I am surprised and happy with how well this saw works. The only complaint I have is that if the chain binds, its difficult to remove and the chain gets lose on the bar. I find that I need to retighten the chain after each use. I have not had jobs that were so difficult and long that the batteries have died. I usually try to plan ahead and top them off before I start. It was a godsend clearing some branches weighed down by heavy winter snow. I originally bought it to cut firewood when I go camping, and I still haven't used it for that. Go figure! ... show more

Never thought a chainsaw could be so fun. Got this for wood gathering for camping and it works great for that. Goes right through branches and small trees. It's pretty damn compact and portable and comes with a nice carrying case. Also great that it comes with 2 rechargeable batteries so that you don't run out of power. ... show more

Cuts like a dream! So much easier than getting the gas chain saw out for small limbs and light trimming! Battery life is good depending on what you are cutting. Am still on the first chain,just hit it with my Dremel when it gets a little dull and good to go. I use a three oz squeeze with tip to oil the chain. 30 weight oil works just fine. Best forty bucks I have spent in while, was sceptical at first but proved to be a good investment. ... show more

    • There's No Oil Reservoir !
It's a great little saw and I am completely satisfied with the way it works, however there is no oil reservoir and you must be careful to remember to lubricate the chain after each use and they recommend lubricating the gear at least once each month. OH! and remember, all chain saws, even the small ones can be very dangerous, so wear your gloves, your safety glasses and be careful. ... show more
