Lots to like here. Highly readable, silent sweep, and the Seiko name. Note that "wood finish" actually means wood-colored plastic. The hands on mine stuck at twelve and thought I had a lemon. But it was just that the mechanism in back was slightly dislodged from the cavity. Snap it back in place and all is well. ... show more

Seiko is really the way to go if you're looking for a nice quality clock. They are SO easy to read and remind me of the old schoolroom clocks. This is in my kitchen and I look more at this one than any other in the house!

    • I purchased a Seiko clock but not keeping accurate time.
Not keeping the right time. The clock is less than 6 months old. In the 24 hour period it slows down at least 30 minutes so it is not something i can depend on. I need to figure out to make use of the warranty.

I like this clock. Very easy to read, and looks good from afar. Sweeping second is nice and quiet. Keeps accurate time so far. Time will tell.
