I replaced the batteries 3 times. My troubleshooting: 1. It came with an original battery, at first I thought maybe that battery was no good. 2. I replaced it with a rechargeable AA battery, after few days it was off. Ok, I thought maybe the rechargeable battery cycle is worn out. 3. I replaced it with a fresh AA Energizer battery, after few days it's off again! 😧😀 Edit: April 15th 2021; after replacing battery third time and fixing time twice, it seems to be running ok for few weeks. Maybe it takes a while to break-in? πŸ€”πŸ€·β™‚οΈ Edit: April 21st 2021; it’s off 8 minutes now. 😀 Edit: November 13th 2021; its been accurate since April, after I spun the minute hand several times quickly back and forth. πŸ™ŒπŸ™ I think it needed to break-in, maybe on the shelf for a long time. Edit: February 2023. No longer keeps time, replaced battery twice. I give up. No longer trust Seiko wall clocks. πŸ˜” Edit: Feb 2023 part 2, instead of throwing it away, I decided to fix it.
