This is actually my second Seiko clock - my first one lasted 9 years before finally dying, which says a lot about the quality and durability. Why I repurchased: The silent, non-ticking feature is essential to me. I can't stand the constant ticking sound from traditional clocks, and this one is completely quiet. I love this pretty clock! I first started out with a lower priced silver framed Sharp clock but it looked really cheap because the silver frame had waves in it, like silver stick-on shelf paper that wasn’t applied smoothly. This Seiko wall clock was about $30 higher than the Sharp. Just go ahead and get what you really want or you will never be satisfied with it. I am hoping this Seiko clock will last me for a long time. Also I tried an off brand wall clock that really looked cheap too. I gave it four stars because sometimes the minutes are off a bit and I think that is due to the oval design. Seiko reminds me of when I wore wrist watches a long time ago and you just couldn’t beat the quality of a Seiko.

Just what I was Looking For

My SEIKO clock of 25 years finally went. So naturally I looked for another. It looks perfect and no second hand noise like my original one. I’m very happy with my purchase. It’s light weight too which I wanted.

Just Perfect!

My kitchen clock is so cute. Expensive. Cuckoo with Tinkerbell. Tink sweeps out on the hour...well the wire broke and her one door stays open...ok...what time is it? Can't really see it very well, so I painted the clock hands....better. Finally when the time was way off, instead of changing the batteries on the half broken back door. Decided after looking and looking to purchase this clock. And why did I wait? LOVE IT! Looks nice and sleek and modern. The clear rim allows the clock to blend in with any decor. The white rim goes well with my white kitchen cabines. The second hand softly and quietly sweeps along. Tink is retired to the basement play room. Now I actually at a glance know what time it is! Even came with a battery and a screw. Nice quality. So glad I went for it!
