PLEASE READ: i was very excited for this product as it was a christmas gift for my mother. sturdy and heavy material! the look is up to par but if you are on the thicker/hefty side these will be very uncomfortable and feel as if you are falling forward in them. as i went to start the return process, i was told to pay for my own shipping to have them returned then a FULL refund will be given. they came in TWO boxes weighing 40+lbs each. as we all know shipping is extremely high and i would not be benefiting at all. i reached out to customer service to see if there was any other action that could be taken. i was offered a $20 refund, then later a $25 refund and to keep the bar stools after i expressed they were not a good fit. after going back and forth with customer service, i settled for a $30 refund with no return/full refund. now i am stuck with bar stools that are uncomfortable and not usable. they will not be getting my business anymore. The media could not be loaded. The stock photos online do no justice for how beautiful these stools are in person. And the sturdiness….chefs kiss. The assembly was extremely easy, took me about 30 minutes to assemble 2. I have a toddler so I needed something beautiful, yet something I can wipe down.
