I have had these cameras for 7 months now. They are great. Easy to install and set up. All cameras are hooked up to the solar panel. Recently one camera was losing battery for some reason. I reached out to the support team in the app. Oh my goodness they were amazing and giving me tips on how to check it and fix it. I was able to connect it to a charging cable. Keep it charging for several days. Then I hooked up the solar panel and so far it’s holding charge and working great. Video is really clear.

The best system I’ve ever used!

I just set up these cameras, and they’ve been fantastic so far—with even better customer support. I ran into an issue scanning the QR code on the hub late on a Sunday. Since customer service was closed, I hung up without leaving a message. To my surprise, they called me back first thing Monday morning and followed up through the app to help resolve it. It turned out I had downloaded the wrong app, so the mistake was entirely mine, but the rep was exceptionally helpful and pleasant throughout. The hardware and software are top-notch. Setup was seamless, the app interface is intuitive, and the cameras cover every feature you could need. The image quality, night vision, AI tracking, audio, spotlight, and wireless range—even on the units mounted far from the hub—have all exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend this system to anyone considering it.

Highly Recommend, Great System

I bought the four camera system. It was very easy to set up, even for an old timer like me. I live out in the country and use StarLink, and this system works flawlessly with it. The initial setup like syncing the cameras was simple, and the range of the cameras is very good. I was able to set up a camera on my detached garage, which was very nice. The cross-camera function is great, and is very handy if someone moves around the house. The field of view is good, and you can easily track someone moving around your property by selecting the camera, and adjusting the camera manually. This can all be done from the phone. The video quality is good, and you can digitally zoom if needed. I liked that you can turn off the audio alarm, as that would get annoying very quickly. I found the 4 camera system to be a great value. Best of all, there was no mandatory monthly fees. The 32G memory seems to provide ample storage for my needs. I would highly recommend this system and have already recommended it to friends. Forgot to mention, great customer support!

High Quality camera system without annoying ads

I recently purchased this system after my existing cameras (screw-in light-bulb form factor) were rendered useless thanks to crippling adware from the manufacturer. They were very inexpensive, so chalk that up to you get what you pay for. This product arrived in a nice big box with plenty of foam insulation on the inside. A good sign right off the bat. Within 10 minutes I was charging one of the cameras and getting it set up via the QR code on the unit. Just make sure you set up the base unit first and make sure that has a physical connection to your router or access point (if you have a home network). Mounting/installation was just as easy, I elected to install directly onto our vinyl siding (see pictures). You simply install the base with 4 screws, then snap the camera into the base when complete. These cameras have a nice option to mount the solar panels separately, via a 6 foot cord. I decided to mount them as is (ie attached), and see what kind of power status I get. Although it is summer now, in the northeast, I am happy to report that after 2 weeks of use the power has been at 98% or above on all 4 units. I will have to monitor over the winter to see how low this number actually gets, but so far so good. The camera quality is really good for the price, and the app is really easy and intuitive to use. I had a little bit of trouble setting up the app in the beginning because my phone's resolution and text size prevented me from seeing the "Register" option, but once I made the proper adjustments I could create my account. I really like how you can see all 4 cameras in real-time at once, and can easily rename then, adjust the order, and select the "default" setting for each one (default meaning where the camera is pointed on a regular basis). There is a nifty little tool to do a scan sweep of the surroundings, and right under the live camera feed you can click on any point of that scan to redirect the camera. The night settings are really good, you have the option to do B&W or color (with a little bit of ambient light). All "events" are saved to the home base, depending on your motion sensing setting (all motion, person only, or none). I haven't yet seen an event that triggers more than 1 camera so I can't comment on how well that works, but so far I am impressed. One idea for improvement, most of the motion sensing events are just me going outside, to/from the garage or into the front yard. It would be nice to have a button to silence motion events for a pre-determined amount of time (such as 5 minutes, 30 minutes, etc). Other than that I am extremely pleased with the product. The company reached out to me immediately when I had issues registering my account. They were extremely helpful and even sent a follow-up a week later asking if I had everything working properly. That is a very good sign. Last but not least, no annoying adware or popups which was the bane of my existing camera system. I hope that it continues to stay this way for a very long time.

Excellent Customer Support

This is the first security system I have ever tried. I investigated them years ago but most at that time were wired in and/or required a subscription and were pretty expensive. Those that didn’t had lower ratings. This system uses solar panels & there is no subscription required. I have been using it now for about six weeks. It is fairly easy to set up although since I had no previous experience there was a slight learning curve. This caused me to have to contact their customer service multiple times. They are truly excellent. They are responsive, polite, professional, very patient & helpful. Seems to be a small team as much of my contact has been with Cissy who is wonderful. Others of note are Gay and Kyle. Not long ago a camera was added to the original four so I now have five cameras. This camera replaced the camera monitoring the driveway which after many manipulations still didn’t seem to perform correctly & would not follow someone walking. The new one seems to function better & does a better job of following a walker. Unfortunately, adding a camera was a ridiculously complicated process which required me to completely reset all the functions of all the other cameras so it was like starting all over again. The cost of this system is reasonable in my opinion & the pictures/video are clear. I only think the cameras should follow a person better than they do, however some of my expectation could be due to my inexperience with surveillance systems in general. Overall I’m happy with this purchase. Four stars because the system itself I would rate 3 to 4. Their customer service I would rate a 5.

Purchased this camera system to replace my current camera system that was on its way out. I had done my research and compared all other cameras that were in this price range and shared a similar feature set. I kept coming back to the ANSQUE for a few different reasons - cost, quality, and the reviews speaking positively of their support. Getting the cameras put together was simple enough. However, I ran into an issue when I was trying to get the ANSQUE Homebase to save video files. Even though the description stated that the 32GB storage was INTERNAL, my ANSQUE Homebase had a removable 32GB SD Card on the back, which was not being detected by the Homebase. Thus, the homebase was only saving the last 3 events (per camera) and they were image files only. Homebase & cameras were instructing to "Insert SD Card" even though the physical card was already there. I messaged ANSQUE Support through their app on a Sunday afternoon and I had someone helping me troubleshoot by Sunday evening. We had gone back and forth regarding instructions and different troubleshooting methods in order to narrow down the problem - which ended up being an SD Card that was unable to be read by the Homebase. I had taken my SD Card that was in my car dashcam to see if that one worked, which it did. I was then able to store videos. After advising ANSQUE Support that the issue was the SD Card and not the Homebase, they escalated the issue to their technical team and due to the hassle, refunded me a $ portion of my order. They also went ahead and sent me out a new SD Card, this time 64GB vs the 32GB that comes with the camera. They extended my warranty by another 6 months. Lastly, because they were not certain how long it would take for the new card to get to me, they advised me to purchase a new one off of Amazon so it gets to me faster and then issued me a $30 credit for the new card. This way I would be up and running sooner than waiting for their card to get to me. I was able to order an SD Card with Amazon same-day delivery and was up and running later that day (meaning my home was protected far sooner than it would have been had I needed to wait for their card to get to me). ANSQUE Support completely went above and beyond, well past what I would expect and what I would even ask for. I told them if they can that they could put a stop to the 64GB card that is coming from them as the one I purchased from Amazon would be sufficient, but then they responded that it is already processed and on its way. Really just incredible support. When I purchase products I know that there are extenuating circumstances or speed bumps that arise that are unavoidable. I am fine with that. What makes the difference is a company that stands by their product and also supports their customer. I would give more stars for ANSQUE Support if I could. The cameras themselves are just what I imagined and they work flawlessly. - Person tracking is on point - Solar charging has kept my battery at 100% for days with my settings on "Optimal" and Motion Sensitivity set to High. - Ease of navigating the cameras and getting them to pan / zoom. - Camera app is easy and intuitive - Nightvision clear I would 100% purchase this camera system again based off the camera quality alone, however factoring in ANSQUE Support behind you, this is an absolute no-brainer purchase and I would not look elsewhere. Want to thank Loi, Cissy, and Jessa for seeing this through start to finish and making sure I was able to get setup and running as quickly and efficiently as possible.

Best Security System Available - Total Game Changer (And My Wallet Is Crying Tears of Joy)

I am officially canceling my memberships to every streaming service because this solar camera system is the best thing I’ve ever watched. Let’s talk about the absolute best feature: $0.00. That is the exact amount of money I am paying monthly or yearly for this bad boy. I bought the camera, I own the camera, and it doesn't try to sneakily pickpocket my bank account every month just to let me see my own front porch. In a world full of endless subscriptions, this camera is a financial saint. The video and picture quality? Absolutely blindingly amazing. I can zoom in and tell you exactly what brand of kibble the neighborhood stray cat ate for breakfast. The night vision is so clear I accidentally caught a raccoon having a deeply spiritual moment by my trash can. The sound is equally mind-blowing. I can hear the exact moment my delivery driver sighs at my shopping habits from 50 feet away. In fact, the quality is so ridiculously crisp that it literally became a local celebrity. We had a little neighborhood incident recently, and the police came knocking to ask if they could view our footage. When I showed the responding officer the video, his jaw dropped. He immediately asked me what securiry system we were running because—and I quote—"This is the best system I've ever seen." Do you know how hard it is to impress a cop with security footage? That is a massive deal. Now, let's talk about this battery magic. It runs on pure, free sunshine, but apparently, it doesn't even need that. We have had days where the sky looks like a depressing bowl of oatmeal—absolutely zero sun visible—and yet every single one of my cameras stays pinned at or around a glorious 100% battery life. I have never once had an issue with it even coming close to dying. I haven't touched a single charging cable or ladder since the day I put them up; they have just been running flawlessly on solar the entire time. They work fantastic and are out there sunbathing, living the best life, and working 24/7 without me ever needing to drag a ladder out to change a battery. Now, a quick pro-tip on their customer service. They are absolutely fantastic, but you do have to use two brain cells and make sure you reach out to the correct department. If you accidentally message their billing department asking how to adjust the motion sensors, you might get a polite digital blank stare. But once you route yourself to the right tech gurus? Perfection. Quick, helpful, and actually human. If you love crisp video, crystal-clear audio, great support, and keeping your hard-earned money in your own pocket, buy this immediately. 10/10

Cons Does not consistently detect or record all motion The setup (Aug. 25, 26) process was impressively simple. The Koocam app was user-friendly, and connecting the cameras was straightforward. Even with frequent indoor activity and a high volume of recordings, the batteries delivered a solid 8 days of continuous use. By day six, I noticed occasional freezes in the recorded footage. Customer support quickly identified that a firmware update was needed, and after updating on 9-8-26, the cameras play back are performing smoothly thus far. Overall, the pros outweigh the con, because the system delivers strong overall value, convenience, and a budget-friendly long-term solution. While motion detection is not always consistent, the ongoing support makes this a worthwhile investment.
