I received the cameras on July 11th during Prime Day. Upon installation after a full charge, I observed significant discrepancies in battery performance within just four days: One camera was at 1% battery. Another was at 40%. The remaining two were at 100% and 99% respectively. contacted customer service who suggested that the camera settings and frequent motion triggers were causing the issue, I've already taken a step to address this. After recharging the camera that dropped to 1%, I reinstalled it and adjusted its motion sensitivity to medium. Despite this, the battery life on that particular camera has fallen to 40% in just six days. Given this experience, I'm concerned that the advertised battery life of "2 to 6 months" is highly misleading. While I understand that settings impact battery consumption, I would expect "2 months" to represent the performance under higher usage conditions, not just a few days. The current performance is far below any reasonable expectation set by the advertising. ... show more

It turns out the only thing we could recommend about Eufy is the doorbell/HomeBase 2. The cameras border on so-so to get something else. These four cameras cost the same as one of our Eufy, cameras. The biggest draw back, utilizing only the "free" service of this manufacturer's options is movement sensitivity. We pretty much leave them off when at home and activate the movement and notification functions when away. The one we have covering the driveway and back yard react to the shadow of the wall mounted Garden Flags. They are all set on the "low" sensitivity setting. Can't imagine what they would activate on set to "high" sensitivity. I'm would be guessing...but more than likely a house fly. They serve the purpose we needed and replace a system that leaves a lot to be desired. ... show more
