Update! Update! The seller has been very easy to communicate with and responded with answers to all of my questions! Quickly resolved the issue! I updated my rating to 5 stars as I had originally because great customer service matters! So have had this camera up for a couple of weeks bought the SD card. Received an offer for a free gift of an SD card or 180 days of free cloud service via email also it’s on the instruction book. Well I took the 180 days and first thing didn’t get the 180 right off it gave cloud service for a few days then was no longer recording. I contacted and was given the “180” days but it stores and records when it wants to. I have to walk past the camera so you would think there should be footage but nope not always! I had just ordered a second one but with these issues I have not even opened the box because more than likely I will be returning it! As stated before picture quality, night vision is great but if you happen to need video stored or view it won’t be there. It’s useless you’re sitting look at the live all day! We been needed an outdoor camera such as a Ring doorbell but the way our front door and walkway is setup we probably would’ve got a good view until the person was already at the door. I read the reviews for this outdoor camera and decided to give it a try. So far no issues, setup was easy. Picture quality is great. I wish I would’ve ordered two more. As for now I’m very pleased with this camera and will be purchasing more. I will be recommending this camera to friends, family and neighbors! Nice little camera. Installation was easy. The first thing I did was charge it. It happens to use the same cable and charger as my Samsung tablet so that was really convenient. A green light comes on when it’s charging so I let it go until the green light went out. Adding it to the app is very simple. I just plugged in my network name and password. It has you point the camera at your cellphone so it can read the configuration data. It then sits there for about 20 seconds while it configured the camera and boom, it works. The picture quality is excellent and the battery seems to last. It’s been on a full day with me playing with it and still shows 100%. Some reviewers complained about the mount. I found it adequate and all the needed hardware is supplied. The mount also connects with a standard 1/4 inch screw so if the included mount doesn’t meet my needs there are tons of comparable mounts out there that are pretty cheap and compatible. I also installed a 128 meg micro sd card. It formatted and works very well. Right now it’s sitting in my Den while I play with it but I’m thinking of getting a magnetic mount and stick it to the bottom of my Garage Door opener.     • Not bad for the price
After our car was stolen from our parking space I decided to invest in a security camera. I like that it doesn’t have wires and fairly easy to set up. So far it’s been good it is a clear image and does capture motion detected. Im not able to set up the arming times from night to morning ( it only lets me select from day to night) 10pm -7am as these are the times I need to be alerted if anyone gets near my new car. The app is not the most user friendly. I have another indoor camera that is great because it saves 7 days of full day and night recordings. So I haven’t had the need to get extra storage or cloud service. This one saves the first 7 days but your not able to delete them to reuse them so your obligated to sign up for the cloud service or add a memory card. Overall it’s a good quality camera at a budget price. The pros overcome the cons. If your looking for a budget camera I would recommend this one! ... show more

    • Average camera, but HORRIBLE Customer Service
I bought this camera with 3 other cameras of theirs (1=s600, 1=B06 & Solar Panel, 2=B10). This was an average camera. Night vision and daylight were clear. The Motion is below expectations, since a person can walk into the field and it does not start recording until they are in the middle of the frame and by the time the camera notifies you of the motion, they are no longer in the image or recording. After using their cameras for about 2 weeks, the s600 stopped recording or showing up in the App. I pulled out the ladder and power cycled it. it would work again, and then it would stop working after 3 days. This camera is in Phoenix AZ with about 10 hours of direct sunlight. It reached about 108 degrees. It should be able to work more than 3 days without needing to be rebooted. I contacted Customer Service for warranty support and instead of saying that it needs an actual internet connection to work, they spend days giving me the run around. (Camera & Batteries were less than a month old and Customer Service sent me a link to purchase new/more batteries.) A camera saving to an internal memory card shouldn't need an internet or wifi connection to record. Even without internet, but a good WiFi connection, It should also be able to detect when the internet returns and not require a full power cycle to reconnect. The whole purpose of a battery operated camera with internal memory card is to not have to rely on if the internet/Wi-Fi goes down. When testing 10-18 feet from my 2.4 GHz WiFi, the same dedicated Wi-Fi Mesh that the other cameras were using just fine, they said the signal was bad but still did not offer to replace the s600 camera for having Wi-Fi issues, even after 5 days and 4 messages back and forth. Amazon was very polite and helpful with processing my return and refund of all 4 Soliom cameras because of the unprofessionalism of Soliom. Side note: I also found the same camera sold by Wal-Mart as generic using the Same mobile App. Makes me wonder if Soliom is really the manufacturer and if not, if that is why their support is horrible. I would not recommend their products, mainly since if you have issues, they won't stand behind their product. ... show more
