Features

  • Rugged, Durable, Waterproof. Weatherproof ETFE exterior layer improves performance and durability, extends the panels lifespan, and requires less maintenance when compared to the PET exterior construction used by most portable solar chargers. The USB ports are waterproof rated IP67 the printed circuit board (PCB) is coated with a waterproof seal and the junction box is silicone bonded to the panel. Designed for all weather conditions and environments - waterproof, shock-proof and drop-proof.
  • Portable folding solar panel. Compact panels fold down to the size of a tablet and easily fit into any backpack. Integrated magnetic closure system keeps the panels closed during storage, eliminating the need for bulky straps. The pocket provides storage space for most electronics and accessories, and the mesh design intuitively allows proper airflow to prevent devices from overheating while being charged. The elastic straps secure phones, power banks and more during storage and transportation.
  • Powerful and fast charging speeds. Monocrystalline panels with ETFE construction provide maximum efficiency and UV-ray permeability. Dual USB ports allow you to charge both USB-A and Type-C devices. The USB-A port (5V/3A) and USB-C port (5V/3A) each pump out up to 3 amps of power per USB port (15W total maximum output) to provide wall-outlet charging speeds. ETFE construction has a UV permeability of 95% compared to 80% from PET - makes the panel more efficient than other solar chargers.
  • Smart Technology. Built-in smart IC chip intelligently identifies your device and provides the quickest, yet safest, charging speed. Short circuit, over-load, over-heat, over-charge, over-voltage, over-current and current limiting protection. Automatic restore if shade occurs.
  • Multi-Use: Ideal for camping, backpacking, hiking, outdoor adventures and is essential in any disaster, emergency, and hurricane prep kit for survival. Never be caught without power. Great for any USB device including your iPhone, Samsung, Pixel, iPad, phones, powerbanks, tablets and more.
  • Designed in California, backed by a hassle free warranty from a local USA company with easy-to-reach customer service. If you have any questions or experience any issues, we are here to help.

  • Adequate charging capability for daily phone use
I purchased this along with a SunJack battery and took it on a week long trip into the Boundary Waters. There is no cell service where I was so the phones were kept on Airplane mode most of the time. But with people taking pictures/video, and watching some movies, a new iPhone and Samsung were kept at full charge for the trip. I pre-charged the battery before leaving. While you can charge a phone directly off the SunJack, you're best off charging a dedicated battery through the day, and then re-charging devices in the evening off the battery. The solar panels are quite rugged which attributes to some of the weight of the unit. I essentially left it outside for our 7 day trip, never taking it inside the tent. So it went through sun, rain, cool nights, and morning fog (so much dampness in the air, all our phones were reporting moisture in the USB ports), It was also left perched up on a rock in the sand. No issues whatsoever. It is somewhat larger than I expected, but I wanted to be sure I had enough wattage to keep everyone topped off. The small battery packs with a solar panel built-in would take days to re-charge the attached battery, so that was not going to be acceptable. I was also able to charge my drone battery and controller. I especially like the attached nylon zipper pouch to keep cables and the battery with the panel. It came with some USB cables, but we had a few different devices with us so I needed a bunch of charging cables. The pouch really helped keep the "charging station" organized. Almost zero weight added to the overall system, and really worth it. Setup is super simple, just attach a dedicated battery or phone (whatever you wish to charge) and your off and running. I didn't have a volt meter to measure actual output, and most days were sunny, but even in the early morning, I'd attach the battery and see the light blinking on the battery so it was charging if even a little. I could probably have kept 4-5 phones topped off, but for our system, I'd just set it and forget it. Then remove the dedicated battery in the evening to recharge a phone overnight. Then, just re-attach the battery in the morning. The battery would be fully charged by mid-afternoon (on a full-sun day) so people would top off periodically. Essentially it worked as expected, is light enough to backpack, very durable, and worked like a charm. So if you can spare a little room in your backpack (I never traveled with it hanging out of the backpack) you'll be quite happy with your investment. ... show more

  • Works great in direct sunlight.
Charges powerbanks and phones in direct sunlight. Too bulky for backpacking and efficiency affected by constant moving in between trees

  • LOVE it
My husband and I have an old style Sun jack from several years ago and we love it. It seems to be a bit smaller than this one and I like the way ours is more compact and the covering on it. However, we bought this one for my son and he loved it from the minute he saw it. He has not used ours so he can't compare the two. These are so handy to have while camping, or at times when there is a loss of electricity. Great product and I obviously purchased it again! ... show more

  • Love it!
This is a must have if your an outdoors enthusiast, works awesome, charges any battery back that utilizes a USB port, is light weight and compact, easily stores away in my pack, has held up and appears to be extremely durable up to this point. Don't go in the wood without one!

  • Slow charging
Takes four days to charge 10 mah batter

  • Awesome product cant wait to take camping
Worked way better then expected. It took about a full day to recharge my 25000 mah battery pack from 0-100%. Seemed kinda slow but considering most other solar panels say they take 2-3 days to almost a full week a day is pretty fast. Havent field tested it yet other then the back yard but will soon but seems pretty durable and we'll made. ... show more

  • Used for a while never really goes over 10w
Best material and design but just not enough output. Doesn’t do anything higher than 5v which is a bummer I remember buying this at 70, maybe worth 45 due to good materials used.

  • Good, not great.
It's a solar panel that charges your devices. Better than nothing if you're camping or backpacking, but it's not going to charge quickly. At 60% my Galaxy Fold Z3 will charge from the wall in a little over an hour according to the charging screen. Plugging into the solar panel in direct sunlight with all 3 panels facing sunward it'll take over 5 hours, so don't expect this to replace a quick charger. Better use-case would be to pair this with a battery bank and charge the battery bank while you're trekking throughout the day and use the battery bank to charge your equipment. ... show more
