I've had this lights for a few weeks now and I am very satisfied with the product. A few comments about this product's features... The 24/7 function is really cool and looks really beautiful in the morning and late in the night. It does get a bit too bright, so if you don't have a heavily planted tank you might run into a algae problem. The light is waterproof. I accidentally dropped half of the lights in the tank, and the LEDs were not damaged at all. The vendor has a really good customer support. I bought two lights and one of them had an issue with the integrated timer. I sent an email to the supplier and they responded on the same day with a few steps of troubleshooting (nothing hard to do). After those steps, we concluded that the issue was with the timer, so they shipped me a new light right away. Very satisfied with the product. ... show more

    • Works good but 24/7 mode has limitations
Size: 22W for 24-30 inch tank
24/7 mode is a good feature but it has a limitation. It automatically configures the light to be on for 15 hours per day at 100% intensity. The problem is that it can’t be adjusted to any different setting while operating in this mode. In addition, the instructions aren’t very clear for setting up the 24/7 mode. So I’ve been using the DIY mode instead since I wanted 12 hours per day at 75% intensity instead and setup is more straightforward. Other than this limitation it works great so far and I really like the thin sleek design. Hopefully it keeps working a long time. UPDATE: After about six months the light started malfunctioning. It would start flashing on and off intermittently after being turned on for a few hours. I was thinking that the issue might be heat or power related since it wouldn’t occur if the light intensity was reduced. However, after a few weeks even reducing light intensity didn’t help. I tried replacing the AC power adapter with an equivalent one but that didn’t resolve things. So I’ve since replaced the whole light fixture with a similar one but different brand. ... show more

    • A Truly Terrible Light

I watched videos to figure out how to set this light and still could not get it to work right. Then I accidentally managed it once. Then we had a power outage. Back to not having a working light. I use to just unplug it to turn it off but at least it lit up correctly. Then we had another power outage, actually a car skidded around the corner on ice and took out the power pole. When the power was back I went around resetting all the Hygger lights then came to this one. Now it is only dull orange and will not change or set any other way no matter what I do. So I have given up on it. This tank it is on is very long with no center support. I cannot afford a light that is this long so I took a chance on this only slightly less expensive light. My advice is do not do that. This is a frustrating and very inferior light and you will only be wasting you hard earned dollars on a light you will only have to throw away like I am having to. ... show more

I bought this light for my 46 gal curved tank and it works great! I love the array of colors that you have option of choosing. My favorite is the 24/7 cycle that cycles colors and shuts off at night.
