This is a very nice piece of furniture so far. Took about 90 minutes to put together, and seems very sturdy so far. Storage areas are more than sufficient so far. It fits the tank very well and was easy to get level. Still waiting to put water in the tank but so far everything seems well put together. I liked that a large portion of the hardware all came with an extra piece, and everything was labeled very well to follow through the instructions. I seen others comment about scratches or other shipping issues. I did not have any of this. All of the pieces were packed very well and I didn't have any damaged pieces. ... show more

It holds my fish tank and looks great. It was easy to build and is very strong. VERY happy with it. I have a 75 gal, a 55 gal and a 40 gal tank so the extra plugs helped out a lot.

My roommate and I are not great at building anything and i mean ANYTHING… but this was so easy to build we finished in about an hour!(we felt like bob the builder) Directions were very clear and easy to follow. We both sat on top after finishing to make sure it felt sturdy to hold our 37 gallon tank. Has lots of room for storage and is very nice to look at. Bought for my boyfriend along with a 55 gal tank for Christmas and he was skeptical about the weight rating but have had no issues and love the cabinet on the side and especially love having the plugs on the side! We probably have closer to the weight limit because of all the real rocks and driftwood placed inside but is very sturdy 👍🏼 ... show more

Multiple issues with this. 1. missing hardware had to go out to Home Depot to pick up what I needed. 2. Bent hardware (see photo) at least this one I had an extra one. 3. Damaged part (see photo). 4. The screws that hold the top on don't catch the anchors that are pre installed. I was able to get one out of the four to catch the others just spin.I am stuck with this because of Amazon horrible return policy in my area the will not pick things up that they delivered. I work 2 jobs and don't have time to bring this to UPS. I didn't by the cheapest thing I could find. I could have spent half of what I did for this. So now I have to decide wether to tear it apart and try to fit it back in the box and miss time from work to get it to UPS or deal with a POS knowing how much money I wasted. ... show more

I was pleasantly surprised at how clear the instructions were and how everything was labeled nicely. Very easy to put together. I did it by myself. They had everything wrapped individually so that the wood wasn't damaged and everything was pristine. It came with all the necessary tools. The wood is heavy and good quality. I looked forward to writing a review for this item because of how impressed I was. I wish more companies would follow this protocol. I definitely recommend it. ... show more

There is no way I would put 1200# of weight on this product, let alone in a seismically active area such as California. The legs are paper thin. Lots of small wood & metal screws. Very little to no side bracing. This product is NOT heavy-duty at all. I like the product's looks, but I am adding aluminum angle Iron to all the corner legs & will add some kind of crisis cross-strapping to the back to prevent side-to-side movent & subsequent collapse. It was such a pain to put together I decided to keep it & do the upgrades stated above, otherwise a nice light-duty aquarium tank stand. ... show more
