This is an awesome aquarium stand! I don’t have my tank set up yet but love how this stand will hold a fluval fx4 or fx6 underneath and has the built in outlets. This stand is supposed to hold quite a bit of weight and I am anxious to have everything finished!

This stand is most ideal for an acrylic tank with a center overflow, or a tank slightly smaller than the listed 180-200 gallons. For most glass tanks with a black plastic framing, there is not a need for a table top (just need sturdy supports on the corners). I would have rated this stand much higher based on the quality of the materials, however if you have a 180-200 gallon with corner overflows (Marineland), be prepared to have to modify the stand in order to be able to properly plumb it. The stand is very sturdy and nice to look at, however the locations of the rear metal support bars partially blocks the return holes on both sides. The rear support bars are not flush with the frame, but are slightly inset, which cause the issue. There is a middle cutout but none in the corners for corner overflows.

Looks really nice. Doors don’t line up perfectly, but overall it feels sturdy and looks amazing. This wasn’t hard to put together in my opinion.

For the money, really cannot go wrong with this. Excellent choice for the money. Looked everywhere and all others cost a fortune. Heavy and strong. I used to build my stands myself which if done right, with finished plywood, soft close doors, quality furniture paint and top coat, cost a lot more than these. I have many large aquariums, 300 gallon, 160, gal, 120 gal, a few 65 gal and a few more. Only thing I would have really liked is options for taller. I like my stands starting about 40 in high. I have purchased 2 of the these. I built a quick and dirty 2 x 8 base that sits on top of the stand, and aquarium sits on the base. Wrapped in black finished 1 x 8.
