The media could not be loaded. I received the item today and here are my initial impressions: the instructions were clear and easy to follow. Yes, the style of writing clearly shows it is a translation from Chinese but again they are clear and very understandable. After taking 10 or so minutes reading thoroughly the manual, setting up the light was a breeze. I really like the fact that the light settings are very customizable. From setting specific individual brightness levels of the white blue green and red LED lights to setting up times where those lights turn on and off. The light does remember the settings after power is lost. The only thing that you need to do when power is to set up the current time which takes 10 seconds. The light is actually nice and slim and I was pleasantly surprised to see that the legs can be removed. Which means my like and sit flush on the aquarium hood. The light lens cover is some sort of plastic, reminds me of a thicker soda bottle material. I don't think it would be very waterproof. I thinks that with time water might ingress into the light bar so I would use the light bar directly exposed to water without a hood. Currently running the lights at 80% brightness and the transformer and light bar do get a bit warm. The light bar is warmer than the transformer at around 103°F while the transformer is at around 94°F About the light quality, I don't have a light meter but I can tell that the light is full spectrum providing what plants need because all of my plants instantly started pearling, and producing columns of Oxygen bubbles indicating that they are doing peak photosynthesis (see videos and pics). I'm looking forward to see how my aquarium plants do going forward. It was crazy to see how my fish colors now "pop" more and their behavior appears to have changed. I can now see iridescent traits that I couldn't see with the hood original lights and I also started seeing matting behaviors on my celestial pearl Fabio's. It is great. So far l, I'm very happy with the purchase. I think the price was fair and the item came and well protected in the delivery box. I will update my video regarding longevity in a few weeks.

Awesome little light. Has pretty cool settings. Definitely a nice build quality and thought put into its construction. Its LED output is good, bright enough i needed to turn it down some notches to grow my plants well. That's not really an issue to have the option of being brighter. Love the sun-set and nighttime modes this unit features. Setting it is a little confusing but there's instructions and you can even yt some vids for that. So far, its operation has been good. I like the looks and feel of this one more than other cheaper versions of systems out there. It's just a little more, but worth it, i think.

This light feels really high quality, the frame is really sturdy and I like that the legs give you more height than most other fish tank LEDs. The 24/7 mode is great and the quality of the light it produces is really nice, my fish look vibrant and in suspect my plants will love it as well. I had to take one star off because the programming/setup are a major pain, needlessly overcomplicated, and most frustratingly, the touchscreen is VERY unresponsive, (like tap a button 10-15 times and it will maybe register it once). But once you get it programmed it works well and looks awesome.

Out of several tank lights this one has fit the bill for all I wanted at an affordable price. I needed a light that gave me room above the tank gar enough that I no longer needed my broken cover, give me options to set and have a sunrise to sunset setting. The fit is perfect and I'm confident it won't slip. I really appreciate the sunrise to sunset. It's very realistic and doesn't just jump from o e setting to the next. It's nice and smooth transition. You can also customize the timing of each setting. If I have to say anything negative, it does get hotter than other lights I've had. Bit I don't feel it's worth a deduction. Update, I felt the need to update due to responsiveness of the manufacture. I started having an issue with some of the controls not being as responsive as usual. I emailed the manufacturer and they responded 1 business day asking me to send a video. I sent it and next day the responded that they shipped a replacement which I recieved in 5 days. For all I know it could be from water fillings.

LOVE the raised design so that it sit higher and away from the tank lid and I love how strong the light is. My plants are enjoying this new light but I hate that the controls are on top of tue light instead of on the cord or a remote or an app and I hate how difficult and confusing it is to set because when we are setting the light we can’t see the display cause it’s up on top of the tank. Great light but hate the location and setup of the controls!

It’s awesome, bright, customization is difficult to figure out at first but once you get the hang of it, its great. I bought this product for purely cosmetic purposes for my snake enclosure. It goes along with some other heating and lighting equipment that I have on there I just liked the idea of having something that could replicate the colors of a day and night cycle. And for that it’s awesome. However, be cautious when programming the brightness on this light. I’d keep it below 60% brightness at all times. Yesterday I left it on 100% for a bit and the lights started flickering and when I went to check the connection to the power supply to see if there was a connection issue, it burned my hand. I used my thermometer gun to see how hot it was and it registered at just over 160 degrees Fahrenheit. Since then, I’ve kept it either at or below 60% and it still gets kind of hot but I haven’t noticed it getting over 110 at all. And 60% is still plenty bright for my use.
