The Grabado scope cover has no bells or whistles, but it offers a good protection for the scope. The material is thick enough, it provides an adequate padding, it’s stretchable and supposedly offers a good ingress protection (I did not have a chance to verify this) My scope is exactly 12” long and I spent a minute pondering which size to order - 10-12 or 12-14 inches; in the end I chose the shorter version. It fits, but it’s very snug and, in retrospect I wish I’d opted for the larger size. The 14” cover would be little loose, but I think it might be better than having to pull and stretch it each time I put it on.

I got this as I thought it might fit better on my Vortex scope that has a 50mm objective lens and is just over 16". The current cover I'm using was rated to 15.5" scopes, but fits snuggly. I had planned to move that one to a similar, but shorter scope if this one fit better. However, this one seems to be even more snug front to back, and the front of the cover is much more snug over the objective bell. I moved this onto a shorter (~14.5-15") hunting scope with a 44mm objective lens and it seems to work well for that application. The neoprene is thick enough to provide padding in the safe, on the shooting bench, while strapped to a backpack in heavy cover, and/or during transport, but I would not expect it to provide substantial protection in a drop situation (which would be asking a lot of any scope cover like this). The cover has grab rings at the front and back and (assuming it's on a properly sized scope) comes off with very little effort. The scope came with a substantial curve (like a banana) in it from the elastic at the bottom slit opening. This makes it a little more difficult to put it on a scope one handed, but is manageable - this may sort itself out after it stretches out on the scope for a bit. I won't be using this for the scope I had intended, but I like it enough that I will be using it long term on a different one that would benefit from a coat. I ordered the largest size, which is for 14” to 16” scopes. The neoprene cover stretches well over the scope and is about the right size concerning the length and width. The neoprene cover is designed to protect the scope body and lenses and is a good choice if you don’t have flip-up lens covers. I like the waterproof feature because it prevents ice from forming on or near the turrets during harsh winter conditions. The hand straps allow me to quickly put on and remove the cover. Overall, this is a good product that’s available at a reasonable price point.

I keep a rifle in my UTV at our ranch. Because of the pastures and farming all around my property, there is almost always dust in the air. I have an expensive scope on this rifle, and I'm constantly dusting off my scope. This scope cover has made a huge difference. It protects my scope and keeps the dust off. I am very happy with this cover.

The elastic is strong and feels like it's sewn in well enough to last. The neoprene is thick enough to give some basic protection to the scope. The fit seems to be as described. The cover itself is lightweight and portable. No complaints on this one from me.

The sides on the cover do not go all the way down to cover the entire scope I have with is 30mm. And it has a very pungent rubber odor. I've gotten several neoprene Chinese products and this one is by far the most stinky.

This is better than most of my other neoprene scope covers. Definitely fits better than others I own. Great value for the money, high quality material, good appearance and more size options for better performance. I would recommend this product
