While this seems to be a sturdy and good value roof rack, the measurements were off and made installation difficult. Also, our kit was missing part “C”, the right rear trim piece and there was no seller contact information in the instruction manual. Hoping they reach out so we can resolve this issue.

Size: For Tacoma 05-22 Cross Bars
2015 Tacoma. These fit very well and look to be identical to the OEM ones. They are all plastic with threaded sleeves glued in place to fit the specific hole pattern in the roof. While not as precise as it could have been, it all has enough flex that it can be made to fit. Minus one star for the lame design on the front clip. A metal piece is bolted to the front end and the roof rack fits over than and then is bolted down. The very front has a plastic piece, like a plaster wall anchor, that slides into a receiver in the metal part. Not only it is impossible to get a really tight fit on the front, but the plastic is very soft and I doubt it will hold up (probably why they give you a few extra in the box). A longer metal flange and a bolt in the front would fix this. I'll add that the overall design of the crossbars - being able to fold away - leads to some inherent instability. In other words, they wobble a bit and I do worry that if used heavily, the plastic will wear and break eventually.

Size: For Pilot 09-15 Cross Bars
These alone are fine. I installed them fairly easily by myself in about an hour. That being said, when it came time to install the Amazon recommended cross bars things went sideways. The crops bars didn’t fit exactly right, and that is their own issue. The issue with these was that there was no way to install the cross bars while they were installed on the car. The plastic piece that attaches to the roof blocks the channel into which the roof rails are supposed to slide. I had to remove the rails from the car, disassemble then, slide in the rails, and then put the whole contraption onto the car as one large unwieldy piece. As stand alone rails, they looked good and we’re strong. With the cross bars installed, they’re functional, but the trim pieces don’t fit well now, and it was a bear of a job getting it back in the proper place to bolt it down.
