  • Beautiful bike! Sturdy! Firm Seat! Beautiful bike! Sturdy! Firm Seat!
The shipping was very fast, it was in stock and I received it within 4 days! The finish is beautiful! The seat, while it does have springs, is still too firm for me so I'll probably invest in a gel cover. Changing the gears is easy with just a twist of the wrist, it engages solidly to the point of making a refunding "clunk" when you're gearing down (not up). Adjusting the brakes is a tad bit time consuming to get them adjusted properly. Just pour yourself a nice cup of tea, put on some relaxing music, pull up a view You Tube videos and you'll be right as rain! I would strongly suggest you put a but of rubbing alcohol on a rag and wiping down both sides of the front and back rims to clean them of any dirt or oil (particularly the front before assembly!) to help eliminate any brake squeaking. While your at it, you may want to consider giving the front brake pads a wipe while your at it, it's much easier to do Before you mount the front tire! IF your fronts brakes still squeak, you'll probably have to toe the front pads in a bit (again see You Tube) that parts not very difficult. Last but not least, learn from my silly mistake. When I unpacked the bike I cut the box in such a way that I lifted the box off the bike, and started assembling it straight away WITHOUT noticing that they turned the front fork backwards to get it to fit properly in the box! Be Sure that this label (apparently not quite obvious enough for some of us 😁 is facing towards the rear of the bike! Overall it's a very nice, sturdy bike that I am confident that I'll get years of use out of. I hope this helps someone! Cheers! ... show more

  • Great Old School Bike with modern gears
Nice old school feeling and the 7 speeds are very nice for hills and such. Easy to put together as it is about 90% together right out of the box. You must have allen wrenches and crescent wrenches or life will be tough!

  • Schwinn men’s bike
The bicycle looks and rides great . I just can’t keep the brake pads from rubbing . If I loosen them off they won’t stop the bike and if I tighten them up a little bit they rub the wheel while riding causing the bike to paddle harder . The wheels are not perfectly straight and have a slight wobble causing this problem .The best thing about it is it’s looks .. ... show more

  • Overall good ride :) Overall good ride :)
Not a bad bike for the price, bought it mostly for the sweet looks & the rear rack. It rides just about how I expected, only more chill. Youre not winning any races on this thing but in style I’d say it’s pretty solid man. Look at this thing! Im fairly tall at 6 foot 3 so if you’re worried if it’s big enough for a man, don’t. Its feels good, just adjust the seat & the bars & you’re good too go. I plan to get better brake pads eventually but these work good enough. Over all it was worth it I’d say. You know get a little sun, a little blood pumping, get around your neighbor hood, go to the park. What else are we gonna do? ... show more

  • Great bike!
This is a high quality bike. It’s very sturdy, but beautiful as well. The paint job is amazing seat is very comfortable. Assembly was easy, but I couldn’t get the brakes or the gear tweaked just right. I had to take it to a bike shop to have it adjusted. It works perfect now and I would’ve had the same issue with any out of the box bike with quality gears/brakes so I left 5 stars. ... show more

  • Just a regular bike.
I purchased this bike because I needed a few gears on the beach cruiser to keep up with the wife on her road bike. Age is catching up. The bike is another rehash of the original 1895 design. That's not a bad thing, the reason that design still works is that nothing better has been designed. A steel frame is still the toughest. The upright riding postion, although not the most efficient is the most comfortable. Accepting that for what it is the description is acurate. You aren't getting a Dutch upright but it is a sound value for the $. Pros: Packaged well Mostly assembled and that was done well. No adjustments needed on shifter. Took longer to drive to Fastnall than to assemble (see the con) than to put it together. Paint job looks well done. Cons: Missing two bolts on for the front fender Tires are not true, rear tire was 3/32" off and the front a full 1/4". I will straighten them but a pain not to be expected on new rims. Dropping two stars on assemly, needing to get bolts can be a an error, the time needed to fix the rims is a problem Revised to 3 stars: after a week and a half dozen short rides lost a front tire tube...common complaint from what I am reading. When pulling the tire although there is a thin rubber layer over the spoke heads it is still pretty rough in there. The rim is stamped 1.5 -1.75 on it so 2 1/4 tires are not the proper fit. I don't believe that is why the tube popped but just anothe thing. ... show more

  • Quality for the price
Lal the pieces arrived in the package. My front fender had a small dent but I poured some hot water on it and it snapped right back. Don't hold it against the seller. Things like this happen when you want the convenience of home delivery. Other than that, it's such an attractive bike. Assembly was straightforward reading the manual. Had to adjust the brake pads from back wheel, which comes assembled. So do check for that. And seat is super comfortable. ... show more

  • The seat is super comfortable unlike most bike seats.
This bike is awesome. It gets a lot of attention everywhere I go. I named her Red Ryder since she’s quite the celebrity. I take her everywhere.
