I bought this based mostly on how it ‘appeared to fit’ in the listing photos. Sadly this doesn’t fit over a normal winter hat much less a helmet. I needed a roomy fit for all the layers I wear. The material is a faux fur, cute but a bit underwhelming.

This ski mask is incredibly soft and warm. I really like the hooded style of this as well. It covers not only my face and head, but also my neck and part of my shoulders. The mask part can be worn up or down. When up, it covers almost my entire face. Just my eyes show. I’ve only worn this to walk my dog in the extreme cold. It kept me warm the entire time. I do plan to wear it skiing. I’ve tried it on with my helmet to make sure it’s fits. (I always like having my ski gear tested and ready before hitting the slopes.) It fit over my helmet, however, if you have an adjustable helmet like I do, placing this mask underneath is the better option. A few reasons for this, you’ll get better warmth, the hood won’t fly down on windy days or going downhill and if there’s any type of moisture in the air (mist, rain, and/or snow) it won’t get wet and soggy. This material is not wick away or breathable, so when it gets wet, it’s going to stay wet. I do worry about the mask part as well, for the same reason. When I’m cold, my nose runs and I can see the mask getting wet, causing my face to chap. I have this problem with most masked ski covers. This does shed a lot. When putting it on, there were black fuzzies on my shirt and floor. Overall, I’m pleased with this. Even if I end up not using it for skiing, it’s a good winter essential for every day outdoor activities.

I haven’t seen a lot of balaclavas that are both stylish and versatile like this one. I absolutely love the way it looks and feels. The main issue is that it’s not super warm in “extreme”temperatures. I wore it during a trip to Montreal Canada this winter and it’s not made for bitter cold and piercing wind like we had when I was there. However, Canadian winters are a serious tests on winter gear, so I won’t hold that against it. This balaclava keeps me nice and warm when temperatures are in the upper 20s F and up. Overall, it’s a nice looking balaclava, that is comfortable, stylsh and versatile. I actually ordered another one for my mom and one in the color white for myself.

Horrible product. Doesn’t fit over the helmet because it’s way too small. We tried several different ways and it just wouldn’t fit. It’s done if you just want to use it as a hoodie hit that’s not what she wanted it for. I do not recommend this product at all.

I expected this to be warm but wow, is it really warm! Almost feels like it’s heated. It’s incredibly soft and light, but it keeps you warm surprisingly well. It’s got an extra little flap all around on the neck area. In the front, that part can be pulled up to cover your mouth, but I like it because it ensures that my neck is fully covered with little opportunity for drafty air to the neck and head. There’s not too much extra fabric around the shoulder area, which is good as you don’t have to tuck too much away or mess with it when wearing other clothing. Of course, you can wear it multiple ways, from covering your mouth to using the hood to just having it around your neck. I do have a smaller head and this fits me well, but there’s a cord where you can pull it tighter if you need. I haven’t yet needed to because it fits pretty well as-is. All around, a fantastic item that will keep you very warm and cozy!

I absolutely love this! It’s incredibly soft and warm, making it perfect for cold weather. It fits great around my head and provides extra coverage around the neck, which is amazing for keeping out drafts. The faux fur material is plush, and while I initially thought it might feel bulky, it’s actually light and very comfortable. It’s versatile, too—you can wear it in different ways depending on the weather. Whether you want to keep your neck warm or cover your face, this does it all. It arrived just in time for a snowstorm, and I couldn't be happier with how well it kept me cozy. Highly recommend it!
