It has great design features and capability on the trails. The weight ratio allows you to reach some decent speeds with almost-scary 29″ wheels but maintains a great stability level. The bike has great front and rear disc brakes which provide excellent stopping power when properly tuned. This is important because you might end up going pretty fast on this bike. The 24 speed Shimano EZ Fire trigger shifters and front and rear Shimano derailleurs are a quality addition to this this bike. This bike is a great if you’re looking for a reasonably priced hardtail. If it’s within you budget please let a professional put it together and tune it for you. CON: Cassette wobble - I know a slight wobble is not uncommon. Certainly not all cassettes wobble but some do and are still within specs. It's impossible to build the quantity of cassettes that Shimano does without some variance in tolerances. Noticed that some of the midrange gears were jumping. After flipping it over and running the chain I realized that the cable needed a slight adjustment. It's simple to do, just turn the peddles and watch how the chain is running over the gears. The end of the cable (near the derailer) can be turned in/out to get the chain exactly in the middle of the gear. Also found that my toe clip peddles touched the front wheel when going really slow. After reading about it, its something that you just learn to avoid. At faster speeds, its not a problem at all. Having a great time with this bike. Love the 29" wheels. I rode a lot on Schwinn bikes until I was 17. Now at 61 I'm getting back into it for cardio and general endurance. It's great. Highly recommend it.;;Reviewed in the United States on March 3, 2019;;5.0 out of 5 stars;;Nicely built, rides nice. Box cam just as promised, very carefully packaged, and assembly took longer than expected, as the manual shows different models, and takes a while, at least for me, to find the right instruction. Once finished, tires come inflated properly, gears and shifting were smooth. As dangerous as it is to bike around Los Angeles, there are lots of trails to choose. Very sharp paint job! Purchased for 14 year old son. Previously owned a less expensive Schwinn that lasted for about 1 1/2 years with daily use. This model is MUCH higher quality and should last for several years. Super light weight. Easy for my husband to assemble. Very pleased with this bike. Found an article online where it was listed as one of the top 5 mountain bikes under $500.;;Reviewed in the United States on August 15, 2019;;5.0 out of 5 stars;;Super nice bike!!;;Amazon Customer;;;This bike didn't show up on time even with prime. The bike has 29 inch wheels that are good for rolling over larger obstacles. The bike is very light. When pedaling the front tire comes very close to your foot and sometimes hits your foot. Excellent all around bike. The shocks are not that great. Decent at best. Everything on the bike works how it should and minimal tools were needed to assemble the bike. My son really likes the bike. If you are planning on jumping or needing a nimble bike I would suggest getting one with 27 inch wheels. I would buy the bike again. UPDATE: The bike tire size is an issue. Its hard to find the correct tube size, and requires a long valve stem for the rims. If you use a normal valve stem its too short to be able to pump up your tire. The chain seems to come off very easily as well. This is more of a bike to cruise trails with. Not any sort of real aggressive biking.;;Reviewed in the United States on March 15, 2019;;2.0 out of 5 stars;;Decent Bike. Inner tubes with long valve stem only.;;Nick Fitzgerald
