This is a very nice mesh-back "Herman Miller" style desk chair. It has height, arm height, tilt/don't tilt, and tilt tension controls to help give an ergonomic fit. I'm replacing a HON desk chair which received daily use for 20+ years and which is now falling apart. If I get that kind of use from this Schwake, I'll be more than satisfied. It is very comfortable to sit in with a spacious seat cushion (about 20" wide and 18" deep) that has good firmness but no permanent tilt setting. It is gently contoured with a waterfall front. The mesh chair back is also contoured and has a lumbar curve but is not adjustable in any way. The base is stable and the casters roll smoothly. Assembly was simple for one person. Instructions are clearly written. But do yourself a favor and sort your 3 screw sizes before you start. It is easy to mistake 20mm and 25mm screws for each other which would require a reassembly when you realize it. Also, I thought I didn't get an Allen wrench for the screws when, in fact, it was right in front of me but I mistook it for part of the chair. It isn't the usual "L" shape key but a plastic-handled "T." Directions for adjusting the chair are here on the product page but are not included with the chair.

The Schwake Ergonomic Office Chair in grey color, normally it would take about 10 minutes to assemble a task chair however it took my husband about 25 minutes to complete due to one of the arms didn't have deep enough threads insert for the screw to be completely screwed in, so he had to tap it and then he was able to screw it all the way in. The mid back is firm and it helps with my posture, the seat cushion is firm yet very comfy, I also like the adjustable arms. I don't lean back on my chair anyway so not having a tilt function didn't bother me a bit. The grey/black color is easy to complement any decor. The wheels rolled smoothly, it would've gotten a 5 star had the screw insert was made deep enough.

Ordered this chair, because my wife's office chair was starting to break down after 3-4 years, and she was complaining of back pain at the end of a long day of sitting in it. Definitely time for replacement. Also, her aesthetic is white, so it was nice to get a white / grey chair to match. Took me 5-10 minutes to assemble the chair. Maybe 15 minutes if you count the time it took to clear out a space to start the assembly. Helps to have extra hands, especially when attaching the back to the seat, but isn't strictly necessary. There are 3 extra bolts, one of each length. Arm height and seat height are adjustable. Chair is mid-sized and without a headrest. Seems comfortable and has good lumbar support. Very happy so far. Will update if there's anything new to add.

Comfortable contoured mesh backed chair. It really provides me with good lumbar support. The base is stable, and the wheels roll smoothly without any hesitation. The assembly instructions were easy to follow and straightforward in the wording. It is a chair designed for basic use, without all the specialized settings and adjustments. I am pleased with the chair and feel it is a good find at an affordable price.

Love this chair! it is very comfortable and helps keep your posture. I have back issues and the seat alone has helped. the seat itself is firm, yet comfortable. Long periods of sitting at your desk will not cause you pain.
