The SJ1331 is perfect for jump starting V6 engines as well as providing emergency power. This unit also offers a built-in 150 PSI air compressor and 12V power port with DC and USB capabilities. The jump starter is easy to use, with an LED battery status indicator and sure-grip clamps that fit top and side-mount batteries. It’s also safe, offering a hook-up safeguard alarm that sounds if the clamps are improperly connected. With a built-in LED light, you’ll be able to get your vehicle started even at night. I do roadside assistance as a fulltime job, and i just got tired of using my cables and having to hook my car up each time, so i bought another Schumacher because the last one worked pretty good too, until the outlet broke on it so i couldn't recharge it. It was very lightweight which is the one thing i dont like about this new jumpbox, its a bit heavy. Still nice to have, i have charged it one time since i bought it, and i got over 11 jumpstarts on all different vehicles so far and it still has 92% of life to it. Now i believe that after each jump, (because i let the box stay connected to the battery for close to a minute) i think it just kinda recharged the box. This product works great! But the truest test was when I forgot it was in the bed of my truck! Watched it falloff, hit the rv, then skid across the freeway while accelerating to 70 miles an hour! Thought it was destroyed! When I turned around to pick it up, it had just a little road rash but still works perfectly!! Schumacher definitely takes a licking but keeps on working! I had one of these for about 5 years- and seriously used it like crazy!! So when the time came to replace it I did and I got a bad egg the first time around, but it was returned and then I got another one, with no issues! Just make sure you leave it on the charger right after you take it out of the box for about 48 hours! The optimized USB ports for android and Apple are awesome. This one is a rare “jumper box” that has a spot to use a regular wall plug (I can’t recall the exact verbiage), so anything that needs to be plugged in to be used, can! So long as it doesn’t overwhelm. It has the 9V input as well, which is super handy when camping and needing to fill up a blow up mattress! Lol The compressor is another huge plus! It not only comes with the ability to fill tires, but also includes different attachments- so, if a ball needs to be filled while camping, that’s no problem either!! I highly recommend! Customer service is amazing if you have any issues. Out of the other ones I’ve had- this one is a bit pricier, but quality over quantity!! ... show more

This came in very useful for what I originally purchased if for. We had a power outage last night and I put this into action and was able to keep my CPAP running for a few hours until the power cam back on. I don't know how long it would have lasted but it did keep mine going for 2-3 hours until the power cam back on. Time to recharge it so it is ready for the next time I need it. We will be buying a 2nd one since my wife is now on a CPAP as well. ... show more

Works good, very versatile, but I do not like the screw on air nozzle for the compressor and the compressor is very slow on airing up a tire.

Very handy unit to have along wherever you go. Both the jump starter and compressor have come to the rescue for us. The compressor simply screws onto your valve stem and you set the unit for the desired pressure and let it do it’s thing. Jump starter like any other non commercial units has one feature that can be undesirable. If your battery is stone dead, it doesn’t detect that the cables are connected properly and won’t turn on. Also if you want to use as a power source like to test a starter or anything 12 volt, this makes it useless. ... show more
