This thing works great for the price. Im hauling 2 adult sized mountain bikes 1 male 1 female style and a 20 inch mountain bike on it (although it says its not reccomended) it is very secure and safe on the back of my Mitsubishi Outlander sport. We started off riding it a bit carefully but on the way home I was able to go 50 MPH with the 3 bikes strapped to the back and experienced no issues what so ever. It does what its supposed to do and is much more affordable than the alternatives. Would recommend if it's something you need, it works great ... show more

The plastic pieces which the bike rests on slide around and get stuck where they’re not supposed to. They moved while my bike was on it and it dented my car.

Note: Got this from Amazon Warehouse so the deal was smokin good. I have a Hyundai Genesis Coupe and since I traded in my Crown Vic for this thing I lost anything that could lug a mountain bike around. I did a lot of research and the Saris models were recommended by other coupe owners. I looked at the difference between the Boned and Guardian and decided that for the price the Guardian would be a winner. Slides up on my trunk no problem. Felt sturdy when I got all the straps in place as well. I’m only using it for one bike as well. But it’s cool I have the option to bring a friends bike. The straps look okay. Wouldn’t mind thicker ones or maybe I’ll get a second set just in case. But outside of that I’m happy with it. Overall this looks like a good match for my 2 Door Coupe.
