  • The BEST GPU for a SFF DELL OPTIPLEX
Short version: Best graphics card for a SFF (small form factor) desktop- I use the Dell Optiplex. This isn’t the best GPU for the price, and isn’t gonna get you outrageous FPS on modded minecraft with shader, but it will be playable- same with other games- halo, no mans sky, they get decent FPS with a i8 8500 and 16 GB ram, if you are on a budget and own a dell optiplex, this is THE gpu, you see the dell optiplex has a maximum electric output, I forgot the exact number but this graphic card is the best value for the money, while still keeping under the max output. I have pushed it to its limits and it works good FOR WHAT IT IS. Id recommended buying a full sized Dell Optiplex and a full sized graphics card if you can afford it, but for me im content. I got the dell for 200$ and the GPU was a gift from a friend. IMPORTANT NOTE: Do not set the radeaon graphics settings to gaming!!! it maxes out this already maxed out graphics card and the fans will be very loud all the time. if you use “standard” mode instead it will have fan and gpu speeds as needed going higher and lower. the fan will still get loud but only when you play more intense games. ... show more

  • Almost returned it due to overly tightened screws
I needed a low power, low profile, single-slot GPU to put into an HTPC. This card fits the needs perfectly. Initially I wanted to put this GPU to a regular PC for testing so I needed to swap the bracket as it came pre-installed with the low-profile one as pictured. To my surprise, the bracket is secured to the board with FOUR screws. There are the two typical bracket screws plus two VERY SMALL screws to secure the Displayport and HDMI ports. I have never seen this design for all the GPUs I have ever owned. These two small screws were tightened so much that I had a hard time loosening them. I was very concerned I could strip the screws then I will never be able to swap the bracket. Luckily they eventually gave in and I was able to swap the bracket! Performance wise, I am very happy I bought this card. It's quiet and uses little power since I am not using it for gaming. RX 6400/6500 don't support AV1 decoding but this doesn't really affect my usage case. I think this is where people knock it down for the price/value. ... show more

  • Big Power in a Small Card
Great card for what I need it for. I have an HP 8100 SFF and this card was perfect for it. Running along side the RX 6400 is a Xeon X3470 (i7 870), 16gb DDR3 1333, and a 1TB SSD. This card compliments the rest of the PC perfectly. I don't play super demanding games but the games I do play this card handles all of them with ease! I play World of Warcraft, Valorant, CSGO, IronSight, Fortnite, Fall Guys, Rocket League and Apex Legends, all of which run beautifully on this little GPU. It can even play more demanding games like Warzone and Halo Infinite at decent FPS. This is the perfect Card for anyone looking for a small form factor GPU that does not require a external power cable. The card runs a pretty cool especially in a SFF case with limited ventilation. I originally purchased the XFX Swift model, but it ran way too hot close to 90C, where as this Sapphire model gets to around 80C at full usage. These temps are in my case witch has very limited ventilation, your temps will vary on case and fan configuration. Overall Super happy with this GPU! ... show more

  • Great upgrade for me.
I'm not a AAA game player, by any means. I was actually hanging on to an older card because I still play Halo CE on occasion and the more up to date card I had caused major texture glitches. But No Mans Sky wouldn't load anymore with that old cards meager 1.5gb of ram (it worked fine when the game came out), so I needed an upgrade. This card has 4gb of ram and PCIe 4.0, which means it'll probably last me another ~10 years and another MOBO and CPU upgrade, or maybe it'll die before that. Either way, I'm sure I won't be needing another card for quite a while. ... show more

  • Nice gpu for the price
Does the job well with my QUAKE 3 ARENA game. Runs a little hot with my Trackmania game. But the graphics is and stays good. I really like it. I also have two different Nvidea cards to compare this with and they all work well. I am running them on old Dell desktops with Intel i5 and i7 CPUs and ddr3 memory. Not a whole lot difference between all three. For the price, this is very good. This. Sapphire only takes 1 slot, leaving room for extra cooling or a network card. I highly. recommend this GPU. ... show more

  • Buy this card instead of the XFX RX 6400!
The RX 6400 AMD product is the best value low profile card you can buy, however, I recommend buying the sapphire card instead of the XFX one, for these reasons: 1. XFX card comes with high profile pci bracket. You have to unscrew the cover, heatsink and fan in order to switch to the low profile bracket. The sapphire card comes with the low profile bracket already pre-installed. 2. The XFX card runs 8-10 degrees Celsius hotter than the sapphire card. 3. The sapphire card gave out better performance aka more fps using the same exact PC. 4. The XFX fan turns on while gaming and becomes incredibly loud. The sapphire card is much quieter. ... show more

  • Don’t know why reviewers hate this so much.
In a world where the 1050ti and 1650 low profile cards are $450, this card kicks butt and does it at a reasonably good price. Yeah price to performance is all over the place bouncing between the two nvidia cards but when Msrp is a funny joke told buy people who get their stuff for free or through good connections, this card rocks. ... show more

  • Is and then is not a good video card "Don't Buy it!" Product has safety Issues
This video card was great at the beginning with 80% over-all performance improvement level for older Dell Optiplex Computers (9020 MT) but started to fail with over-heating issues that hit temperatures of over 150 degrees from the cooling fan malfunctioning and it's undetermined as to its cause. I spent approximately 12.5hrs. off and on the phone with AMD who only provides the video chip & software (AMD Adrenalin Video Drivers) for this PCB manufactured by Sapphiretech,Inc. of China in order to find out if there was a logical reason for it not working correctly (be it hardware or software related). Hold off from buy this video card. I must get Sapphiretech which is based in China to repair/replace the card and they don't have any phone support or shipping locations for the USA.. ... show more
