I did a lot of research before buying because the hammock I had for years was worn out. It was canvas and perfect so I looked for another but came up empty. This material is kinda hard to describe. It’s a bit “slippery” and I did slide off the first time I got up from it. It got slightly stained from helicopters that fell on it when rained but I expect that it will wash off when I scrub it down. It’s comfortable and great size although I don’t want another person on it with me. That would be scary I think just trying to balance. I like the look and color. Can’t speak to durability yet as I’ve just gotten it a few weeks ago.

The fabric of this hammock feels like vinyl or those old plastic webbed lawn chairs. It's not "a soft and comfortable feel" or very "breathable, allowing air to circulate through the fabric" as described. It's very stiff. It does feel durable, and I like that it won't hold moisture for very long after a rain. The rope used to tie it to the stretcher bars feels cheap and I don't expect it to last very long. I don't know, I'm just not impressed.
