I've been using this SanDisk 1TB flash drive for a few weeks now, and I'm really impressed with it for a few reasons: 1. I had been using portable hard drives my whole life, and the downside is that they need a separate power source to function. This is my first time buying a 1TB flash drive with storage capacity similar to a hard drive, but it doesn't require a power outlet! It just works by plugging it into my iPhone! 2. My iPhone video settings record high quality videos which takes up a lot of memory space. I like that it’s so convenient to backup all my iPhone 15 photos and videos directly into this flash drive (without needing a Mac or PC! Btw, both my Mac and Pc is able to read the drive). 3. It’s also easy to share the files directly with family or friends that want a copy of the photos or videos. I don’t need to worry whether they’re on Android/iOS. Also they’ll get an original copy, and not a “reduced sized” copy. 4. I like the build of the flash drive. It’s made from metal and the built seems really good. Some downsides/workaround I found: 1. Several users have mentioned that the flash drive can get warm during large file transfers. I've noticed this as well, but only when my phone battery is low (below 60%). The transfer speed also seems to slow down when the battery is low. To avoid this, I keep my phone battery at least 80% charged before transferring large files, which significantly helps to reduce the flash drive's heat. 2. On the design side, it only has a cover for one side of the USB connector, not the other. Ideally, it would have two rotating covers for both sides to provide better protection and keep the connections clean. Knowing all the pros and cons, I still think it's a great buy overall! It's super convenient, which outweighs the minor drawbacks for me (and worth the price)!

Really fast especially over usb-c connection, works well with phones. The device has 2 different types of connectors, usb a which is still very common, and USB c, so you can easily transfer back and forth between many devices and transfer files. It does get warm with use, but that's to be expected with high transfer speeds. Would highly recommend to anybody. Also great that it has a keychain hook too.

Works beautifully so far, is fast, high-capacity, and having both types of USB types in one flash drive is a dream-come-true! I got the plastic one at a very similar price, but that one didn't work well at all, but this one was amazing. It gets hot, but so did my previous SanDisk with just the USB-A but it always works beautifully and fast! I love SanDisk flash drives, and depend on them heavily for secure back-ups of crucial data!

Overall, I am quite satisfied with my purchase. The design is completely metallic, which gives it a premium look and a durable feel, but it should have two caps for the ports to protect them from dust. Additionally, its compact size makes it very easy to carry anywhere. One of the features I like the most is its dual USB Type-C and USB Type-A connector. This allows me to easily transfer files between my smartphone, tablet, and computer without the need for additional adapters. The write speeds are decent for the price, reaching up to 33MB/s, which makes moving large files quick and efficient.

I haven't used this device a lot, as it was really intended for backing up content from a mobile 'phone (but hasn't been used that way yet). However, it seems to have the majority of the features that I look for. The first feature is reliability, since if It isn't reliable then the other features hardly matter. I believe this to be a reliable device, but time will tell. It also has a metal casing, with allows heat to transfer away from the circuitry inside faster than with plastic casing, thus reducing the likelihood of overheating, and also making it more resistant to physical impact/pressure damage. It can be used with both USB-A and USB-C connector, is quite compact, has rounded edges (with the USB-C connector pointing outwards) so it's unlikely to poke holes in pockets, and has a built-in metal loop for attaching it to a key ring, making it more difficult to lose. It's from a reputable company, so I shouldn't have to worry about buying from a company that sells cheaply-made stuff described as ultra-reliable, and then changes their name/address/'phone number every once in a while once people catch on to the scam. The one characteristic I decided I could ease up on is speed. All other things remaining the same, processing data faster requires more energy, which (in a compact enclosed device) means more heat, which is more likely to result in a non-functional drive and the loss of its data. Even though it's advertised as having "USB 3.2" drive performance, the top speed for reading data from the device is 150 MB/s, which is actually quite slow compared to the 5 Gbit/s that USB 3.2 is technically capable of. The speed for *writing* data will definitely be slower than 150 MB/s, and is dependent on various factors. If at any point I have issues with this miniature mobile metal marvel, I'll update this review.
