I just purchased this from Sam's Club with a 4 year warranty. Costco is selling the Samsung TV with a 5 year warranty. Out of the box, it comes with the 2 feet to make the TV stand, 2 cord wraps, power plug, TV unit with instructions, and remote. The remote is much to be desired but, it's very simple to use. Set up your wireless/wired connection. It would be easier to navigate around after. It requires a computer or mobile device to login into your account for Netflix, Prime Video, etc. There's a QR code on screen or just use your computer and type in the code that comes up on screen according to the instructions. From there, you can use your remote. There's built-in TV channels which is pretty cool. The buttons are quite responsive, but, there's a little bit of learning curve to find out how some of the buttons work. One of them is the home button, which allows you to select certain movies from certain apps, it also have your tv settings so you can configure your TV's picture, audio, as well as other settings. The volume controls is one button on this, where you push up for increase volume and down for decreasing the volume, press down to mute the audio. One drawback I see with this specific TV is the fact that you must use an audio system that has optical or hdmi receiver with speakers and subwoofer as the sound coming from the TV is like any other TV where it's very poor. It doesn't have an 3.5 audio jack line/headphones so you definitely need an audio receiver or sound system that has HDMI-ARC or Optical jack. Optional is to use a bluetooth speaker as well. With bluetooth speaker, there is an audio delay and you must get into the sound settings and configure the audio delay to match the audio onscreen. Colors are good, but, like any other TV, it must be adjusted. Research the tv with picture settings for the best results and adjust from there according to your liking. This is what made the TV at first good, to improved. Also, pay attention to where HDMI-ARC is located for your HDMI-ARC speakers so that you will get the correct sound. It also helps if you get a 5.1 surround sound as it gives you the full movie theater affect. I'm sure you could use 7.1 as well, but, I haven't tried it so I can't confirm. Another thing you must do is, if you haven't already. Configure your sound system's speaker channels, to give it the best surround sound quality because at first, it would seem that it's not working to great. When you adjust the Center channel, rear, treble, bass, and surround sound settings. This will dramatically improve your movie theater sound. So make sure to research what speakers will produce good sounds or best. Update your TV for the latest firmware. Picture quality for it's price I would say it's good enough. The only thing it's missing is the refresh rate is only 60 hz. For gamers, it may or may not be a problem. For some watching film/movies, this may not be an issue. Another cool feature is it doesn't require batteries for the tv remote as it's a solar remote control. Recharge the batteries by indoor lighting or sunlight. Or you could use a USB Type C with a power adapter to charge it. Either way, it's cool it doesn't require batteries to be replaced. Also it has a energy saving mode to save on power consumption, Disney+, Hulu, Netflix, Prime Video, and other services that you could use if you have your subscription or membership. For the price, you can't expect too much bells and whistles, but, I just wish they didn't remove the line out audio jack. It doesn't make sense cause it's not like a phone. Anyway, that's my complaint about this one. ... show more
