Posting a review a couple months after buying the refurbished version of this phone. Overall i am really happy with the device and the amount of money i saved by buying it refurbished. Product felt new, Pretty powerful phone and honestly being able to adjust a lot of settings to conserve on battery are really nice. It even has a lot of built in UI options just for this kind of phone so you can decide how you want to use the larger screen when unfolded. Downsides are that the battery can drain pretty fast when in normal use use. I don't think this is is the issue of the replacement battery but more of the fact that it has to power both screens and have higher quality picture. If full day use, needs a one time daily charge. If half day or less use, Can go without 2 days without charging. The system even has a setting to where you can set the battery to charge only 85% to preserve the overall life. As well i found it was suggested to turn off fast charging in the options to have less ware on the battery life over time. The system has tons of options for maximum optimal battery use and efficiency which really made the phone feel like it can last as long as it normally would, So that's been super useful. Also there is no standard headphone jack in the device which is a bummer, But the actual stereo/sound system on the phone its self is really good, very clear bass. I'm surprised how much i used both screens equally though, Getting used to the folded narrow screen to a bit but i got used to it after a while. Unfolded is great for watching videos & movies, Playing games and any other tools that might perform better on a larger screen. Hard to go back to the normal phone format after having this for a while now. You will definitely want to get a case for this phone but, Very happy with the product though. ... show more

Don't purchase. I bought a refurbished one and in a few months the screen went black. I bought the insurance through Asurion and they didn't even cover what they claim they said. It says they would fix the phone no questions asked but I honestly didn't think I would need to file a claim so soon and they didn't cover the fix needed. The third party seller never contacted me or Amazon to help remedy the issue and Amazon sided with the seller even though they didn't even get ahold of Amazon themselves after they send them a message to try and fix the problem. $400 down the drain. ... show more

    • Battery life isn't good
This is one of the " best" phones I've had. I like the large screen for viewing but not as much for typing. The default keyboard is okay but I would chose another one if I typed on it a lot. The space bar isn't wide enough for me to go faster and I want all the keys to be bigger. Personally I don't use the outside screen, I pretty much always open the phone to use it. It makes me think having a lower power screen or just a small screen with the time on it would be better. The outside screen is thin and difficult to use because the icons are small. The big screen makes web pages more usable to me, I can't use a web browser on most phones. A lot the reviews I saw before getting the phone, talk about the dent or fold in the screen and the weight. Neither of those things bother me when I am using the phone. I haven't watch many movies on it but I have watched YouTube and it makes a good device for that sort of thing. The battery life is pretty terrible and a lot worse when you use the big screen ... err alot. I am always near enough to a charger so it doesn't bother me as much but if you hate charging your phone, well you will be frustrated. I got a car charger / holder that is motorized. It does well holding the phone but not at charging it. Sometimes I take the USB-C cable out of the holder and plug it into the phone so it will charge. The holder is suppose to wirelessly charge the phone but it doesn't 99% of the time. I would buy the phone again if I could find it at a reasonable price. I paid too much but not sticker. It would be a lot better if it had much better battery life, its pretty bad. I use the phone with Waze all the time that has to be the number one app I use, Instagram is very usable as well. ... show more
